Dear Friend,
Election Day is eight months away, but the Republican attack machine is going after Hillary Clinton big-time.
We cannot sit on the sidelines.
It's time to get serious. Time to stand up for what we believe in and who we believe in. Time to stand up for Hillary the same way she has always stood up for us.
I need you to commit now to support Hillary's 2006 re-election fight.
Two weeks ago her GOP opponent met with the White House and was told that he had their full support. You and I know what that means - financial support from a Bush political-financial complex that leaves no special interest lobbyist behind - and it means pushing millions of dollars into an anti-Hillary campaign.
Why? The GOP wants nothing more than to silence the strongest, smartest voice we have in the Senate.
That's why I'm asking you to join Team Hillary as a monthly supporter - to help make sure we have the means to fight back, each and every month, right on through the coming election.

Anyone watching the colossal incompetence of the GOP - from botching up the Medicare drug bill to fouling up the response to Katrina - might think these guys couldn't organize a one-car parade. But there's one thing they excel at: the politics of personal destruction.
Because they can't defend their own record of failure, they've turned their guns on Hillary.
The Republican national chairman Ken Mehlman calls her "angry"; Laura Bush says Hillary is "out of bounds"; and now her latest opponent makes outrageous charges that she "aids and abets our enemies" - this is just the beginning of their campaign.
We must be prepared to counter.
I know that this election matters to you. So join us on Team Hillary today - it will be critical to Hillary's success. Victory comes only to the well-prepared and deeply committed ... day after day, month after month.

Let's get ready right now with Senator Clinton - and commit ourselves to carry the fight for our values all the way to a crucial victory in November.
Sincerely,
Paul Begala
P.S. If you can't join Team Hillary as a monthly contributor today, I hope you would consider making a special gift today. Anything you do will help. Thanks.
He's such an ahole.
Highness or heinous?
I'll go with heinous.
Hillary who?
"Take things away from you"
I guess the strategy is to create a legend of a "Republican attack machine" before 2008 so that any criticism of her will be immediately dismissed...or the Republicans will be too intimidated to even remind the voters of her record.
And don't forget - she IS the "smartest voice we have in the Senate'.
Is she is so smart, why didn't SHE invent the internet?
Heh heh heh...
She's getting dumber by the day.
Used to be she was "the Smartest Woman in America".
When she was on the witness stand, she showed her faulty memory "I can't remember".
Now they scale it back to call her the Smartest Person in the Senate.
Uh-oh, the liberals are in deep you-know-what if Hellary is the strongest and smartest of the bunch. What legislation has she gotten passed? What has she done for NY besides grift?
The Soros/MoveOn attack machine was more funded than any Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
See tag line, which will remain up until '08.
"Team Hillary". The sequel to Team America?
Well I deeply believe that many on the left SHOULD be committed.
On legs that look like tree stumps?
Hillary the bull dyke, created superior to God, eh Paul? Cough up the FBI files now. NOW!
"co-president". Her husband will also get another term as co-president. And if/when that happens, I want it to go to the Supreme Court as we have an amendment to limit the number of terms a president can serve.
Co-president was their own term. I want the judges to interpret what that means.
