Warning to all Parents of 4H and FFA Students
Texas Animal Health Commission Watch ^ | March 22, 2006

Posted on 03/22/2006 6:20:47 PM PST by Calpernia

It has come to our attention that there are several unscrupulous business and organizations that are misinforming FFA, 4H students and others that : "The Texas Animal Health Commission requires all producers to register a premises identification"

We all know this is false information and scare tactics. It is our understanding that TAHC has contracted numerous business and associations to be paid advocates for NAIS. That's right these organization and their subcontractors are on the payroll of TAHC to promote NAIS !

We don't know all the details at this time but appears these people are getting paid to sign people up. They appear to be using scare tactics as well as using our public schools to trick children into signing up your farm for premises registration without your knowledge! They make a buck, TAHC gets another notch on their belt - but you just got the shaft. They signed you up to be on the tax roll !

ALERT ! ! Contact you children's 4H leaders, county extension agents, FFA chapter leaders and agricultural teachers tell them this is a no no. Do not allow your children to be used ! ! Alert

Word was passed to us that one business stated that they were "negotiating" with the Houston and San Antonio livestock shows to prohibit sales of 4H and FFA students projects if they did not have a premises ID.

Do they issue the ear-tag for the Public Servant on the spot, or is that sent in the mail? (Love it!)

Yes, I've posted stuff on the Grange forum but unfortunately the National Grange has policy supporting NAIS. At least my posts will give the other side. Thanks for making sure though. I can't do it without my friends.

If you or someone you know feel they have been deceived, misled, tricked, or had children coerced into enrolling your property into the Premises Registration program we have attorneys standing by. We want to hear from YOU ! Please tell us about it. click here to email.

Phone Survey = Premises Registration SCAM Alert !

Everyone needs to be aware that there is the possibility that some USDA / "Hired Guns" or unnamed subcontractors are now in the process of conducting some type of agricultural / farm survey. We have received word that this is going on in multiple states.

Keep in mind that the organization NoNAIS.ORG has reports of this type of activity.

They call you up on the pretext of conducting a survey. Later you find out you have been voluntarily signed up on the premises ID tax roll!

Please be a good neighbors, contact all your family and friends an let them know this scam is going on. So far people have been scared to talk to them and just refuse to answer any question and hang-up. We certainly agree do not answer any questions or give out any information on the phone. In this day and age giving out information no matter how innocent it may seem can be dangerous.

We suggest that if you are called, turn their call into your call:

1) Do NOT answer any questions, or be tricked into verifying any information !

2) First question you should ask is " is this conversation being recorded " ?

3) What is your full name?

4) What is your employee ID number ?

5) What is your callback number ?

6) What is your mailing address ?

7) Who is your employer ?

8) What company / us / state agency do you represent ?

9) If they work for a private company ask them who their company is working for.

10) Ask for the contact information for the company / us/ state agency they represent .

11) Ask them for their supervisor's name and phone number.

11) Ask them to disclose the full purpose of their call.

12) Ask them anything else you would personally like to know. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION !!

13) Inform them to put you on their DO NOT CALL LIST.

14) If you are on the state do not call list be sure to tell them you would like to know why they are calling you.

We suggest you print this out and past by your phone, it's hard to remember what to ask when they catch you off guard in the middle of the night!

If you have children at home be sure to tell them to not answer any questions or verify any personal information over the phone!

With the government lying about little things like this you have to wonder where the big lies are…

A friend of mine has a standard question for instances such as this: "Follow the money."

Who stands to make a buck?

Who stands to make a buck?""

The companies who make the microships and the $800 scanners you have to carry with you when you transport your horse to the local kids pony/horse show.

Also the manufacturers of the computer programs you must purchase to report to the "government" within 24 hours when you remove one of your animals off your premises or return with them. Penalties for not reporting so within 24 hours are substantial.
This is a poorly disguised method of keeping track of persons- not animals.
It is a direct violation of the 4th amendment- illegal search.
It is also an illegal violation of the 5th amendment- making you disclose information that could be used against you in the future.
Also- signing up your animal premises allows "inspections" at any time day or night, without notice by "authorities". Think hard about that.....
If they hassle me they better have plenty of help.

Actually, I believe NAIS is a form of animal trials for human use.

NAIS is part of the Healthy People 2010 program.

Healthy People 2010

This new incentive for the Vets is also part of the Healthy People 2010 program.

That database off of the CDC link, DATA2010, has a field for DNA ID. I guess once that identification is entered, it will be linked to the chips.

VA To Build Genetic Database

April 25, 2006

The Department of Veterans Affairs soon will ask veterans to volunteer their DNA for a genetic database, the Gainesville Sun reports.

The VA plans in fiscal year 2007 to collect the first 100,000 DNA samples to learn about costs and other practical issues related to launching the database. The database later could expand to millions of VA patients.

Samples would be taken only with permission, according to VA officials, and the department plans to create guidelines for handling a person's genetic profile while using it in research and to identify an individual's risk of health problems, the Sun reports.

VA Secretary Jim Nicholson has established a panel, which includes geneticists, to work on issues regarding the project. "There are so many questions of ethics and privacy that we are not going to proceed down that trail without first assessing the risks and benefits to our veterans," Nicholson said last month in a speech. "But we know from past experience that once we determine that a VA program is in the best interest of our veterans, we move forward with all the resources we can muster."

The NIH, CDC and other research organizations and universities already have created genetic databases for research, but none is as large as what the VA plans to build, several experts said (Reiss, Gainesville Sun, 4/24).

I figured as much.

report to the "government" within 24 hours when you remove one of your animals off your premises

Have you ever seen a fence that can actually contain cattle? They cost a lot of money. Fences work because cattle behave like, well; cattle. Feed them, they'll stay home. If one bovine doesn't want to stay, there are few fences built that can make it stay...

Fences are for people; cows care not.

Of course. Big brother has to get us used to the idea somehow. They're "practicing" on animals. When they get all the kinks worked out, there will be a public health "menace" that will require people be tracked by the same systems.
