Not if you notify the proper authorities, it isn't.
Otherwise, yes, feeding and sheltering a criminal constitutes "harboring."
Simply put. Well said. Clawrence 2?
No, I asked you where the words in it were that YOU used. Are they there? That's up to you to back up what you state as fact.
I was asking if you found these words from HR 4437:
". . . assists, encourages, directs, or induces a person to reside in or remain in the United States, or to attempt to reside in or remain in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such person is an alien who lacks lawful authority to reside in or remain in the United States;"
I've posted the link several times. I don't think I can "back it up" any more than that. If you don't want to discuss the proposed law rationally, fine by me.
We will have to agree to disagree then.
But the jury's verdict will be final.
"Jury" as in whatever the Senate decides next week? Man's laws can always be changed.
Of course, some of your FR compatriots do think "one hot meal and one night's shelter" should be criminalized - I wonder if they think helping your illegal alien disabled motorist will be some day too . . .
Did you know that HR 4437 would make it illegal for the Church to offer an illegal alien a hot meal and shelter for the night?
If the illegal is fed or sheltered and then turned in (THE LAW) no one is going to be prosecuted.
Now, go play your word games with someone else.
As long as you admit "one hot meal and one night's shelter (without turning them in)" could be prosecuted - that's my whole point.
"Jury" as is 12 of your peers who decide guilt or innocence.
Oh O.K., you have a nice weekend too.
I think you're referring to the Catholic church, I would say yes.
The Catholic church has a long way to go to overcome its Roman idol-worshipping, pagan-istic roots. I think, however, the last Pope was making enormous strides in that direction.
Even if it is just "one hot meal and a single night's shelter"? How about if it's just one wafer during Holy Communion?
"If the Government were to "criminalize" a particular act of "helping" - they are within their Rights as ordained by God to do so..."
I believe that only kings were ordained by God. Our government reps are elected by us...whether or not they pretend to represent us is another can of worms.
Hillary forgot to mention what Jesus thinks about ABORTION!
Really? What do you think Jesus Christ said about "ABORTION" while He was here in human form?
It's not necessarily about helping her, it's more about bashing conservatives.
If you think back to grade school english, "thinks" is present tense.
If Jesus is caught crossing the border, I'm all for a full parden.
