'Don't underestimate me,'
LOL! What about that "political capital" spent on social security reform?
I'll give Bush this, with the SS reform he never put any clear plans on the table. With immigration "reform" he is all to clear.
This really concerns me -- 11 million unhappy people that could become very angry very quickly. And they are wrong to boot.
Glad that this issue is finally being discussed after years of looking the other way.
Well guess what Mr. President? I am disgusted that you don't give a dam about American citizens. I am disgusted that you don't give a dam about America. I am disgusted that you and your elite buddies sit in Washington D.C. and shove illegals down the throats of American citizens.
How about I am just downright disgusted with you!
I believe it was September 11 of the following year that got in the way, Jack. I know it has kept me distracted for some time...
The important thing to notice here, IMHO, is that Dems are THE SAME on this issue. It's a no-win, for us Natives.
Will someone please inform that mental midget that he's not dealing with a neighborhood but a sovereign nation.
----
He knows precisely what he is dealing with -- our system of laws, our soverignty, our borders, our security, a huge taxdollar burden on over-taxed citizens, and the meaning of a U.S. citizenship.
Like the Congress, he is PAYING NO ATTENTION to the will of the majority of REAL U.S. citizens. His buddy, Vincente Fox, is most likely planning a huge party to celebrate the sucsessful penetration of the U.S. voting populace to be able to extort the Congress and impact U.S. policy.
Bush and the Congress have failed this country, for their own personal agendas = votes.
A humane immigration bill would trade every member of the Bush family for an equal number of lucky illegal immigrants selected at random, after which a fence would be built along our southern border and the border sealed.
Me too, I won't get fooled again by this party. My feet aren't stuck on this plantation like they think.
How I agree with you! Bush has been the biggest diappointment of my voting life.
"I'm just waiting for him to threaten to veto a bill if it doesn't include an amnesty clause."
Mee too. It would figure that that would finally be the time he'd whip out the veto pen.
I've thought the same thing. OR, push it through as an Executive Order. To be quite honest - I don't trust the man.
Si Senor Bush. We in So. Cal are thinking the same thing about our neighborhoods. Si. Si.
I am disgusted by a President who refuses to protect his nation's sovereignty.
What seems to be happening is that Bush's socialistic agenda is passing and his conservative agenda - Social Security Reform, Tax Reform, Tort Reform, etc. - is dying on the vine.
Five years hoping for Bush to do something about illegals, and this is what we're rewarded with? A half-assed plan that rewards illegals? The previous amnesties didn't work, so what makes him think this one will?

Works? It always works -- for Washington pols. It gets them votes and they are paranoid of losing 11 million Mexican votes. They (and Bush) care not about the impact on the U.S. citizen and taxpayer, and never have. Washington pols are so desperate about POWER AND CONTROL, that they are giving away America, our laws, our soverigty, our borders, our security, and even the Presidential oath -- to secure their personal political security.
America is burning -- while Washington pols give away our country, and our entire system of American values, for power.
Illegals: Go home, nobody wants you here.
Sadly, that is not true.
Big Business wants them here, to drive down wages.
The Dims want them here, to boost their vote total.
W wants them here, for reasons of his own.
Warning! American patriots will find this very offensive!

Personally, I would not welcome a single one of these nasty people as citizens.
