"Top Five Bioethecists" is it? And you bumped Gacy to make room for Pianka? Seems a bit over the top! Jeepers, I wouldn't know who to put on such a list. There are so many qualified candidates it seems. For instance, your list doesn't mention Peter Singer....

Killers. But only very diligent, effective killers. If you're going to make the top five list spreading death, you have to be good at it. Bioethicists are death salesmen. They all say the same thing: "This is a great tragedy for the family. [Fill in the name] must die." On my list, Ted Bundy had the fewest postgraduate degrees but by far the most charm, and he killed more people than Dr. Death (Kevorkian), Dr. Humane Death (Cranford) and John Wayne Gacy put together.

Peter Singer is a wimp. I don't believe he's even strangled a baby yet.

My comments and tagline are sarcasm, of course. But the pro-death movement is only too real, and a good horselaugh is one of our better weapons for exposing its pretensions. "Bioethicists" indeed! Mostly they are academics with fancy titles who write bad books and give each other awards for being mean and narrow-minded and unholier-than-thou.

Meanwhile, thanks for remembering Betty Boop, a gal who made the whole country smile.

Bears repeating, T'wit! So very true. I'm beginning to think that the horselaugh may be the only effective remedy for these maniacs. I mean, you can't reason with them....
