Surprisingly so. From personal experience, teachers and admins let the teenagers do just about anything in school, including ignoring assignments and experimenting with explosives.
The Germans' doctrine of shame about conflict has conditioned them to respond with politically correct behaviors even in the midst of clear and present danger.
Their age of atonement is almost ended; I hope they acknowledge and act before losing their homeland for swinging too far the other way on the appeasement pendulum.
Now, somebody refresh my memory...where did I heard that kind of statement lately?!

Indeed, the Germans have no touchy feely, don't hurt my feelings kind of policy.
It is all about learning and discipline.Discipline is the key word. Germans(at least the ol'timers including my generation)are very adamant about discipline and learning.
Nothing is tolerated in the classroom, except learning, listening and taking notes.The way should be!
Harshly?...hardly the case;...you disrupt or disrespect the teacher/professor, you are trown out the classroom. Three times of misbehaving and you are expelled for the rest of the school year.
That was the norm when I grew up!

Some months ago it was posted on FR -- newspaper article -- that certain northern Mexican provinces had become targets for Muslims who'd work at learning Spanish in order to convert the locals to Islam/Jihad or as a 'Mexican disguise' as they headed north.

Our Hispanic illegals will be coddled/groomed by dems and Libs, Jesse Jackson and Sharpton...'the new civil rights movement'...to vote for more and more entitlements. They already feel victimized and have a sense of grievance, victimhood. This won't vanish until Hispanics achieve power. In other words, control the US completely. At which point they'll demand reparations and the obliteration of American values, culture, mores, etc.. We'll be mini-Mexico, which Mexicans have already ruined.
Young Arabs? These are primarily Turks...and some of the issues are typical to any ghetto....fathers that leave, and the resultant single motherhood. Germany is seeing the same problems arising that France has seen in it's Banlieu districts, burgeoning ghettos. Let's remember that although there are fundamentalist turks...primarily they have grown up in very secular surroundings, turkish newspapers and magazines have their own versions of Page Three girls. It's much more apt to compare Turkey and Mexico.
