In anticipation of May 1st, can we put together and continue to update an ongoing and comprehensive list of the names of any retailer, restaurant, organization, government office, school/college, etc. you've learned is planning to be CLOSED, whether employer is doing so in support of the boycott, or, forced to close as a result of planned absences by employees/students.

2) From this website: http://www.actionla.org/Campaigns/NoHR4437/events.html
Port of Los Angeles Date: May 1 La Collectiva del Troqueros del Puerto E-Mail: ejnevarez@sbcglobal.net 12,000 TROQUEROS WORKING THE PORT AND LOCAL RAILS WILL SHUT DOWN AND CONGREGATE AT BANNING PARK. SOLIDARITY FROM MOST OTHER PORTS IN THE NATION EXPECTED.
You mean they are openly admitting to being communists?
Excellent! Great idea. This alleged attack of shutting down of our country is as communist socialist marxist as one can get.
No amnesty for the criminals advocating our Country's ruin!!
lol, by any other name, UNION democrats!
Is Castro celebrating this day also?
That ought to show certain anarchists that we, the people, are not laying down for them!
Unreal.
Anyone with a little time on their hands and a good imagination can have fun with that.
In my mind, I kept thinking in terms of small places, restaurants along the border states, maybe even a few chain stores, etc. Never did I imagine their ability to shut down our Ports and truckers. How can this go unreported by the MSM? It's as if they have the ability to shut down the country right under our noses without us suspecting a thing. How much more don't we know?
I'm boycotting Cinco de Mayo.
Great idea
Any employer that is missing workers on that day should report them to Immigration .
I also think that prior to May 1 we should not shop except for absolute necessities.
Then on May 1 we should go and purchase everything we have waited on. Clothing, appliances, food etc., from those merchants that are open and running.
We should also note on that day who the merchants are that are "short staffed" and ask them if they knew they had illegals working for them. Any merchant that has had to close for the day should get a note from us telling them we will shop elsewhere UNTIL they have legal citizens as employees..THEN WE NEED TO DO THAT and let others know.
Those merchants are the magnets that draw the illegals here. maybe if it becomes a greater loss than gain they will rethink their employment practices

(I'm also finding there is a huge backing of this event by anti-war groups, i.e., Troops Out Now, etc.)

Of course... most of the anti-war groups are front organizations of the Socialist International.
Tuesday May 2 is our day. First they march under a mexican flag. Now they plan to march on a communist holiday and these illegal invaders are starting to threaten us. "We'll vote against you."
I say ok let's get it on. I myself pledge to stop shopping anywhere that has illegals working for them. I gave up my garden service and use a mower myself. This might come as a surprise to that ash hole from Arazona, but even at sixty I can and will do "work Americans won't do".
Please do likewise in your own life. If the government won't punish the illegal employers it is up to us to do it. When you find a company that doesn't use sneaks who are here illegally, tell your families and friends. Let's punish our enemies and reward our friends.
These swine want to talk BACKLASH, let's teach them what the word means. I'm sure they never learned what it means in the government schools they have gone to.
Let's start with MAY SECOND: TAKE IT BACK TUESDAY!
What I see is Janitorial/custodial services and road construction companies are the most obvious. Hard to boycott but you can call ICE.
While we are talking boycott there is a drive on to boycott EXXON/MOBILE until they are selling for $1.50 a gal or less. If everyone were to participate it wouldn't take long to bring gas prices back down.
:)Easy Does It:)
Right here in West Los Angeles where I am. Hmmm ...
:o)
