"Christians ask: Can you love thy neighbor but deport him, too?"

For one, Jesus wouldn't concern himself with something of this nature (if I have read the scriptures right).

Furthermore God demands that Christians submit and obey their leaders.

So my answer to this (my opinion only of course) would be Yes, they can love their neighbor, guide him to the straight and narrow, tell him to quit being a criminal and deport him.

I have no problem with people coming here LEGALLY. It is when they break our laws to come here and put a severe drain on our social and economic systems that I have to speak up.

Most of our ancestors came here with nothing. But they came here to BE AMERICANS! Not foreigners on American soil. They built lives, learned the language and became Americans. That was very different that what we see today.

John 10:1

"I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber."

Game point goes to Egon!!!

True, but look at numbers and demographics.
We were also commanded to protect against invasion of Israel.
12 million amnested illegals would soon enough become 30+ million thanks to anchor babaies, document fraud, and family reunification.
Take a good look at the pattern of Mexican colonization of our border. It is not immigration but a reconquista.

God's Law...

How about Jesus in the temple flipping over tables John 2:14-16
Romans 13:1-2. "Obey the government, for God is the one who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the laws of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow."
*Refusing to obey laws of the land, refusing to obey God.

Deuteronomy 30:15-16, TLB. "Look, today I have set before you life and death, depending on whether you obey or disobey.
Hebrews 5:8-9. "And even though Jesus was God's Son, He had to learn from experience what it was like to obey, when obeying meant suffering.

To love someone means to act in their best interests, regardless of their desires. To simply surrender to those interests is an act of indifference.
It is no one's best interest that people should enter this country illegally. Nor is it anyone's interest that people should live in the United States below the law. Nor it is anyone's interest to reward people for activity that by any standard of law or morality is illegal.
While one may have great sympathy for those who are in the United States, one cannot simply yield to the desires of anyone who manages to sneak across the Rio Grande.

God has no borders

Deuteronomy 32:8 says that, "When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples." Acts 17:26 says that God sets "bounds of habitation" among every nation of mankind, that they should seek God.

If a Christian can countenance imprisoning his brother who has committed a crime, then deporting his brother who has entered illegally can't be much of a moral question.

Exodus 22: 21 "Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in Egypt.

Leviticus 19: 33 " 'When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. 34 The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 14: 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year's produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Deuteronomy 16: 13 Celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress. 14 Be joyful at your Feast—you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levites, the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.

Deuteronomy 24 14 “You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether one of your brethren or one of the aliens who is in your land within your gates.

Ezekiel 47: 21 "You are to distribute this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. 22 You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who have settled among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. 23 In whatever tribe the alien settles, there you are to give him his inheritance," declares the Sovereign LORD.

Malachi 3: 5 "So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear me," says the LORD Almighty.

America needs a new law regarding illegals...call it "Tough Love". In other words, "grounded"...drag em home and make them stay there till they do things right.

Christians ask: Can you love thy neighbor but deport him, too?

If your neighbor is a thief--"Can you love thy neighbor and arrest him too?"

If not why not? More drivel from today's useful idiots.

"They don't cost Californians 10 billion a year, that's what Californians choose to give them."

I'm sure if every tax payer in California was given a box to check off on their State tax return like this:

1 Check here___ if you want to give your tax money to illegals.

2. Check here___ if you do not wish to give your tax money to illegals.

You would see things differently, but since false ID and corruption has held sway in that state for so long the tax payer winds up getting raped, hence the exodus of people (US citizens) and legit businesses from that crap-hole state.
