Hey Tex, yea Rush does come across as a arrogant blow hard, but I believe that is part of his radio personality. From what I read, I hear that he is pretty reserve and low key in his private life. I agree with alot of his views, I just ended losing alot of respect for the messenger when this little scandal came out.

Lou Dobbs broke the story on CNN, and yes he used the word "arrested".

I think the news media is still working on the meaning of is .

Boy, this is sure a BIG news headline. What a fine and frugal way to spend taxpayer dollars...

Out of all the years I have listen to Rush, I don't recall him ever announcing on his show that he was taking time off for back surgery. So you don't know squat about back pain either and you just felt the need to let everyone know. What a whiner.

After you lied to me about "being away from the forum for a couple of weeks" to get away from being thrashed on that abortion thread you should hang your head in shame for pinging me.

"I thought the MSM media (and it's polls) had become believable during the past few weeks."The MSM will never become believable--not ever. They will remain as they are, a fifth column and an enemy of the United States. They are, with rare exception, traitors who manufacture the news to suit their leftist views.

The damn Florida State Attorney should pay the 30,000 for this drive-by prosecution.

Yes, isn't that grand?
The only 'media' I see are the Yahoo headlines when I sign on to FR, and whatever I see there, I know it is the opposite of what I'm going to find out here.

It was a senseless political prosecution. I'm glad it's over. This is identical to what Ronnie Earle did to Tom DeLay and the type thing the Democrats will attempt to use to impeach Bush and Cheny if they regain the House in 2006. It is an attempted coup by prosecution on phony charges and perhaps abetted by liberal judges.
They have tried to decapitate the conservative movement by eliminating its strongest players. Need any more incentive to help get out the vote in November?

And I was a prosecutor for 14 years.May I ask a serious question? Is there NO legal watchdogging within the profession? Are there no peer review groups, no quality assurance committeees (for lack of better name), no judicial brakes that can be applied with rogue prosecutors?
The legal profession is quickly losing as much credibility as the media, IMO. I'd think there would be lawyers and judges that didn't want to see this happen.
Thanks for any comments you might have.
