It's all in the headline these days. The story that follows doesn't seem to matter

Looks like the liberal drive by media had another 'wet' dream....lol....

Michael Savage was in full throttle gloating when this erroneous story broke. I didn't stick around to see how he handled the corrections, if he handled them at all.

The agreement also provides that he must refrain from violating the law during the 18 month periodBefore and after which he is allowed to violate the law?

My local newscast kept blaring through the 10 o clock hour..."Rush Limbaugh Arrested!! Film at 11!!!" And they insist that there's no liberal bias....

The media didn't screw up. They intended to say that he was arrested, knowing the facts. They knew that skulls full of mush would hear the word 'arrest', and retain that, no matter what really happened.

Our local news commercials were saying that Rush had been arrested even after Mr. Black had his press conference.

The agreement does seem a bit unusual. This has all the earmarks of a defered adjudication agreement, except that the defendant usually has to plead "guilty" or "no contest." I can't figure out why he gets to plead "not guilty" but still has to pay a fine.
$30k is a pittance for Rush, and I'm sure he is just glad to have the whole mess behind him.

Too late! You'll never get the idiots to stop repeating, "Rush was arrested, Rush was arrested."
To: RonDog
The reality is this:
Limbaugh returns on Monday...and the Monday after that...and the Monday after that. His audience on Monday will big...really, really big. He will go on getting the attention of millions. He will go on MAKING millions. There's no victory in this for the Left...or Limbaugh's competitors. Some people cannot separate wishes from reality...pathetic.

Boy, this is sure a BIG news headline. What a fine and frugal way to spend taxpayer dollars...

The damn Florida State Attorney should pay the 30,000 for this drive-by prosecution.
