I've been trying to decide which is worse... A rat senate (not too bad, we already have one), a rat house (worse because tax policy originates there, as do articles of impeachment), or a rat president. I think if we can keep the house, who cares about the senate?

Doesn't really matter what Bush's rating is in the long run. GOP members in the congress and senate must do the right thing.

President George W. Bush, has my support in any efforts he wishes to partake in. I have not forgotten how President Bush has defended this country against Terrorism since September 11, 2001. I have not forgotten how the World Trade Towers fell, by our enemies, and how they hoped to Cripple our economy and how today our economy is back on track. I will never forget the courage of President Bush during those times, and How he lead us thru many dangers.

Political suicide for you? Fall on your sword.

If we keep the house, is it possiblistic to ride the rat president out of town on a rail?

GW sees ''comprehensive immigration reform'' as a win-win for himself and his pal Vincente.

If it passes, he gets amnesty (under the guise of pay a fine).

If it fails, he gets status quo and the illegals continue to flood in.

Either way, the millions of illegals get to stay.

Yet another critique of what the President was supposed to have said, written before the fact.

Their minds are made up, do not confuse them with reality.

Laws are written and voted on in the Congress, not in the White House. The President has ASKED that these particular items be considered and addressed in the legislation.

Of course, when the President ASKS, that is most usually pretty close to an imperative.

He's just trying to placate people. Nothing new happened last night.

If Mexicans have NO TROUBLE sneaking over our border, imagine how EASY it is for terrorists in our southern border and northern border. I shudder to think what's going on there. The Canadian border is VERY OPEN. THAT'T where MANY of the terrorists came through.. NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING is being done about THAT border.

GWB is not looking out for the LEGAL American people with ILLEGALS or TERRORISTS.

It's hard to continue to be on board with a president who worries more about what the leader of a corrupt third world country thinks of him than his own citizens who put him in office for 8 years.

--- Build this & Bush's approval will jump 20 Points!---

Anyone who builds that will never get my vote. That wall/barrier is disgusting. If you are that scared then go live on Guam. You'll be safe there.

I live on a border state and we do not need that ridiculous wall in your picture. How about a first step.... enforce the CURRENT laws!

You probably do not even live in a border state yet you want Federal troops and a huge barrier built in my great state of Texas. This is a States' issue. Keep the damn federal government out of it and keep federal troops out of my State! Got it!

I am so sick of you whiners wanting that damn fence! Even with a fence you'd find something else to whine about. You far right conservatives are as whiny as moonbat liberals.

''Comprehensive immigration reform'' is the mantra from Bush, Kennedy, Durban, Reid, Hillary, and the rest of that ilk. It's in every statement from the pro-criminal, anti-sovereignty, left. Expect to hear it chanted regularly by them and their sock puppets between now and November.

I have not forgotten how President Bush has defended this country against Terrorism since September 11, 2001.

Yeah! Attacking a backward country that wasn't really developing WMD, while most of the attackers were Saudi. Then he instituted that terrific airport security that carefully screens old ladies and retired US Army generals while being careful not to offend swarthy males of Middle-Eastern decent. Bush made me feel soooooo safe.

Mr. President, to paraphrase your own words "either you are with us or with them".

Bush is not a rat President. I happen to agree with his plan, although I would prefer to see more numbers on the border. Protecting or borders is #1, but what is the solution to the 11 million illegals in the country. How are we going to deport all those people? Our legal system provides for due process, and any illegal rounded up would have the right a hearing. This process can drag on for some time. Where are we going to incarcerate those people in the meantime.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but frankly I am tired of one issue voters that thing that everyone that doesn't agree with them on a single issue is a RINO or RAT.
