Opposition to Bush or to his immigration stance? A distinction you may want to clarify....
Regardless it's way more than a "few" over the top posters. And how about the "opposition to Bush" people policing and cleaning up some of their own???
AMEN!
"The Almighty says this must be a fashionable fight. It's drawn the finest people."
Young lady, you're a treasure too.
I would agree.
That's mean....
(just for that, I'm putting on my Afghani costume and go find the poor boy)....
Two or three, more like.
But the big one is right here:
Some of you might argue that George Bush is not representing Conservative values to your liking. I would remind you that the first thing Bush said upon taking office, is that he was going to be President of ALL the people, not just some. You know that if you followed Bush from the beginning that he campaigned of the very immigration platform he is defending right now. Did you vote for him? Yeah?
That's the kind of taunt you offer to chumps, Dog. It's how you tell chumps, that they're chumps, and they're your toys and suckers. It's total disrespect
Of course, you can say anything you want. As long as the mods agree and the site owner says it's okay.
You don't have to yell and scream and use profanity, to tell people they're ciphers, they don't count, their concerns are nothing but a sprig of parsley on your steak, so shut the hell up and pass the A-1 Sauce. You can do that.
But I would hope that every real American would throw it right back at you, because politics and religion are two things that I don't ever, ever want to hear that Americans are letting anyone talk down to them about. And that's what you did.
And for the record, no, people never give up their right to oppose a program, and loudly to boot, simply because they voted for a guy for other reasons who advocated it among a host of other issues during the campaign.
Bull!
It is good to know that some are keeping lists, like volunteer Stasi, to assist in hoped for purges. [/sarcasm]
Yeah, I think you've identified the real issue here. If we could only have a few female moderators. Maybe we mean old mods could settle down, get married, have a few baby mods, groom them to put on their wife-beaters and come on FR to abuse women. That'd be the life!
LOL. We're retired and live around a lot of other retired people. Young retirees with lots of energy and somehow we all came together in a neighborhood and ADORE politics.
With the exception of two families, we are all staunch, lifelong Republicans.
And none of them in our real life talks the way half these so called freepers are talking.
We were at a party two weeks ago and when I asked if anyone was angry enough at Republicans that they'd sit out the election in November or take other action against Republicans the response I got was: "You mean vote for a Democrat?" They thought I'd finally lost my mind to even ASK the question.
Capon.
You can't look at the present can you?
It was actually a sarcastic reply from a flame war I got into with some "kill 'em all and ship 'em home" types. I just hadn't deleted it.
Lugar --- aye!
