"Maybe I am wrong here, but I think alot of us are going to be surprised by the end legislation. Surprised in a good way that is."

Pass me a shot of whatever you're drinking. (JUST JOKING)

I tend to agree with your sentiment that the Senate is being pressed into action, and agree that we will probably see some (compromise) legislation passed. This will indeed be a first step and good for the country, however, I don't have much hope of it calming some of the outrage we see here every day. Whatever the result, it won't be extreme enough and will be labeled treason.

Today, Rush talked about the Herndon Virginia primaries that kicked out all the people responsible for okaying the Day Laborer Shelter.

This news spread to Pennsylvania where certain republicans were trashed in their primaries

The PA primary had nothing whatsoever to do with illegal immigration. It had to do with local elected officials voting themselves a middle of the night 16 to 54% pay raise, without a debate. Democrats who voted for the pay raise were also voted out or saw the writing on the wall and didn't run.

The Virginia situation is directly related to illegal immigration but this primary is not.

So now we have a serious proposal to create a No Mans land surrounding the Land of the Free. Sick but perfectly in line with the mentality which believes this is THE major problem the US faces.

I wish you would not conserve your brain you need to use it more and not let emotions run away with your sensibility.

We have opposing parties. The Republicans vs the RINOs. Hopefully, someday, we'll have enough Republicans to overpower both the RINOs and their Democrat accomplices.

HELL YEAH! That's what a lot of people who were sent on unrequested vacation have been trying to say. They just differ in the methodology for getting there.

To that end the Session amendment has passed. It isn't 2000 miles long, but it is quite a bit larger. I am sure the House will make it even biggger.

The Senate gave the House half 700 miles the House voted for in their bill. It appears to me the Senate is using the extra 350 miles as a barganing chip in exchange for amnesty from the House.

Members have rap sheets?

We even keep rapsheets on each other. Three strikes, and you're back to shuffling sidebars on the graveyard shift.

As I recall a Federal judge struck it down. Please spare me the California bashing. The President got more votes from here then from any other state, and the Republican party gets the vast majority of its money from here. Not to mention it's the home of this website.

Correct. A Carter appointed federal judge overturned Prop. 187, and when Gray Davis won the governorship he had his AG drop Governor Wilson's appeal.

There can be no doubt, that no matter how disappointing our current government has been in promoting the Conservative agenda, that the alternative, enabled by our staying home will be MUCH worse.

You can't say it enough!!!!

Shout it from the rooftops.
