Democrats signal oversight of Bush would increase. Probes by Congress may be in the cards

Michigan Democrat Rep. John Conyers Jr.'s Web site features his call for investigations of the U.S. invasion of Iraq and President Bush's authorization of wiretapping without court warrants.

Conyers says either could justify Bush's impeachment or censure.

It is one of numerous demands by frustrated Democrats, out of power in Congress for several years, for investigations of the Bush administration.

But with the growing prospect that they could regain control of at least the House in the November elections, Democratic leaders are signaling that they intend to increase oversight of the White House if they win a majority — and use their subpoena power to put the administration on the griddle.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California has indicated that high energy prices, faulty intelligence used to justify the Iraq war and the National Security Agency's surveillance program would be investigated.

I would say that the media has been pretty effective in bringing the president's approval rating down 20 points in general and across the board on every issue. He should begin to worry about the media. They have a simple but effective strategy, lower Bush's approval numbers with negative news all time time. What is Bush's strategy rather than talk mush.

Gold bugs are elated as Gold passes $1,000 per ounce. $inators Finestein and Boxer take over control of all American Oil Companies and stop all drilling in America. All American refineries are shut down and only gasoline imported from Cuban refineries using Opecker and S America oil is allowed to be sold. 9. Fall/Winter 2007: The worse depression since Hoover begins in earnest with the Dow below 4000, and of course it is GW's Fault.

10. January/February 2008: The evil GW is removed from office impeached by the rats and happy walk on water conservatives. VP Cheney goes to jail for being associated with Haliburton on charges brought about by Fitzmas. Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House becomes President.

11. February to May 2008: President Pelosi and the rat controlled congress to prevent future wars, disband the Army, Navy/Marine Corps and Air Force. The Coast Guard is kept, and any Republicans are forced out. Nancy puts her Girly Boys from San Francisco in charge of the Coast Guard. The first thing they do is have all guns removed from the Coastie ships and men, and all the Coastie ships and boats are painted with the Gay Rainbow.

12. Late May 2008: President Pelosi disbands the Border Guards and replaces them with Social Service Workers to sign up anyone at any border for free food, medical care, drivers licenses with no tests, a social security card and a lifetime DNC voting card.

13. Summer of 2008: Riots break out over America as Walk on Water Conservatives continue blame to GW for what happened. They find themselves as targets of many rioters who blame them. No one has guns or knives, so rocks and clubs are the weapons of the street.

September 11, 2008: With no US military, no real Coast Guard and no real border patrol to be afraid of, Bin Laden has the born again al Qaeda Hero's take out Seattle, San Francisco, LA, Las Vegas, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, Boston and NYC. Washington DC is spared so President Pelosi can surrender the nation to Bin Laden before it is destroyed. Iran and North Korea supplied the bombs and China and Russia provided the transportation and how to knowledge.

16. September 12, 2008, President Pelosi unconditionally surrenders to Bin Laden. Immediately all American Flags over what is left of the nation are lowered for the last time and burnt.

17. September 13, 2008, Blue Burkas become mandatory dress code for every female in America. Any male not killed immediately, is taken away to some slave labor camp.
