Please be in prayer for our LadyX. She will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning(5/24/06). Any of you who know LadyX, know that she has been a member of our FR Family for a long time and is very much loved and respected. She has inspired us, made us laugh, given us some of the wisest of advice, wowed us with tales of her life in the Marines, and shared her childhood memories of an idealic time. Some will recall the sailing of the Mobius, or the time on the tropical island. We have shared many adventures. Now, it's time to let her know how much she is loved.
Post your prayers, encouragements, jokes, pictures or memories, so she will have them to read when she gets back home.

I could have sworn FReeper Island was in the summer of '98, just before I was banned...just for being funny...
I remember having to demand an invitation as a poll watcher type for the Democrats since Beowulf and all the other Libertarians were taking over the joint and the Conservatives were too cheap to tip the bartenders, and the Republicans ran off with the receipts. ...
Then again, the girls were all over on the other side of the Island and we lost our audience and Petunia married Sir Bruce Blusterbluff, Byron the Aussies' Nephew (who produced "Babe in the City"), what's his face shot the moose in the arse with his longbow and Daus had Beowulf blow the still.
Thanks BG. Can't get too many pings for our Lady.
Oh, I love that song Kathy. I know it's one of Maggie's favorites too.
LOL. That is too funny. I think, however, it must have been 99 because I didn't join until Oct. of 98 and I do recall the thread. I'm not witty enough to compete in the "one-upman-ship" of that kind of thread. I'm more on the serious side. I did enjoy the ship though. I can't swim and it a a harrowing experience to cling to the Mainsail and yell "land ho!" in the hopes that the land would really be there. Finally I was relegated to manning the Bilge Pump because of the disturbance I made out of my fear of water. The Bilge pump duty was not too bad. I didn't have to look at all that great expanse of water. I miss the Cap'n.
Please tell Maggie that I explained to Logan today that we had to say a prayer for a special friend of Uncle TC's. He looked up and (I quote), "OK Nanee... Uncle TC's and angel now and he will pray". Sounds like the little one is still communicating with his best buddy.
Our love and prayers.....

Add my Prayers to the mix. I rarely post but I do lurk. As Magoo we often spoke on threads.
I know first hand the Pure Power of Prayers heard. A Power that transends time and space. Power that Heals, Power that freely gives the strength to overcome adversity.
I just wish some of these new folks with the norse kitties and pitchforks would just realize once in a bit that all of us from the poor side of the island should be treated with the respect and dignity due us uninvited alien types.
Which reminds me. Do you know how may threads I have tried to hijack in the last two weeks? Every last one. And no one has even taken a nibble. Do you suppose there is a conspiracy? Or is it just because there are only three people who speak to me anymore? I'm feeling so sorry for myself I hardly have the strength to worry about LadyX. When you talk to her ask her to get all her friends to start a thread about what a great gift to mankind I am and how humble and perfect and stuff like that?
Thanks.
Oh, and P. S. Make it sound spontaneous and post it in breaking news so nopardons can visit...Har de har har har...or maybe Howlin. Tea he.
Now I must to sleep go.
That is the sweetest child ever born (next to my angel grandaughter of course).
Oh.......Magoo! I wondered what ever happened to you. I remember you well.
Ha. We must be related. There are only four people who still speak to me. Probably because I don't hang around and answer arguments. I'm one of those dreaded "post and run" Freepers. That way I always win the arguments. It's not my fault that I'm too busy to sit for hours. One has to make a living.
