He was an embedded reporter who chose to crouch in the front of the vehicle that he was riding in to get a good perspective of the route that the convoy was taking.

He would not have gotten the blood clot if he had not been in the crouched position for an extended period of time. [his choice, but still a death as a result of covering the war.]

It is all about the media personalities. While they have condemned, derided, and lied about honorable soldiers, airmen, sailors, and Marines. I would get a time-out for stating the contempt held for these media types that are out to sway policy. Prayers for our troops.

Using "contrarian-think," this is exactly the strategy I'd use if I was a terrorist. Hitting media people guarantees very high-profile anti-war Western news coverage. This strategy exploits another Western vulnerability and puts more pressure on the Administration.

The fact media people are being targeted tells me terrorist spies have penetrated our military at the highest levels. If I was running the show I'd be having a serious internal traitor hunt.

Maybe the MSM media can now realize what kind of work our soldiers do. So far the MSM has been ,"Oh, so Ivory Tower," ignoring accurate reporting for propaganda.

They are sending correspondence over who are not equipped or arrayed as combat correspondents. Dozier is a fine reporter working for the wrong crowd, and the MSM is hardly a collective of organizations anyone would risk their lives for.

The MSM should help our nation push for freedom in Iraq, and to a large extent, the MSM has encouraged the terrorists in Iraq to keep fighting, and now that encouragement, that treason, now begins to take a toll on their own staff.

Get behind your country, MSM, and help us end this war instead of encouraging it!
