Newt is going to be the next president and I'm going to be the next Queen of England! Great guys don't cheat on their wives,

Legitimate criticism is one thing. Linking the slimy political exploits of Bill Clinton and William Jefferson, with the hardball conservative politics of Newt Gingrich, is absolutley pathetic.

That's why most people here would vote for anyone the Pubbies run.

I'm not saying that you are one of them, just making a point.

I'm pretty not much, I would not vote for a pro-abortion and/or pro gun control canidate under any circumstances, no matter what (i.e. Even if Romney, Rudy or whatever were nominated, I wouldn't).

Newt isn't pro abortion or pro gun control, but his personal character would lead me to vote 3rd party unless I felt forced.

!! For some reason, Evangelicals won't vote for Mitt...I don't get it.

Because he supports abortion as a right.

Well, if he gets the Republican nomination, there are basically two choices come election day - Republican or Democrat.

or 3rd party or stay at home.

As Thomas Sowell said: "Do you want to vote for a second-class fireman or a first-class arsonist?"

I never mind agreeing to disagree politely. I appreciate the thoughts and points of view you add to this thread.

Newt is probably my second choice after Mike Pence if he enters the race.

(Tancredo:possibly);

it seems that the only good-Conservative candidates these days originate in the House of Representatives, not the Senate..

Though Pence is my first choice, that despite his immigration bill not pleasing all conservatives (me included), He has been one of the FEW Congressional-Reaganite leaders that has actually stood on principle, and has the rehtoric to back it up..

Congratulations on your new book.

Holy cow, I didn't write it!
I should have said, "...along the lines of a book I just finished reading".

It most likely will be along the lines of a book I just finished:

...finished READING...

LOL!

Communication is such a FUN thing to do! :>)

Yeah...but if it weren't for Clinton, Newt would'nt have a prayer of a chance of even thinking about the presidency..Newt has his own wife, ex-wife and ladyfriend problems...all of which pale in comparison to Clinton's....as with all things Clinton, he lowered the bar for the presidency...
