U.S. Soldiers Tortured: Where Is the Outrage?
FoxNews/Fox&Friends Blog ^ | 6-21-06 | E.D. Hill

I'm mad.

The New York Times wants closed. The San Jose Mercury News claims that Gitmo nurtures a culture of death. The Cleveland Plain Dealer wants Gitmo closed. Journalists and editorial staffs are up in arms that there might possibly be some kind of torture occurring.

So what do they say when torture OBVIOUSLY occurs? How do they react when two U.S. servicemen — in -approved uniforms — have their hearts cut out, their testicles cut off, their penises cut off and stuffed in their mouths, arms contorted and eyes gouged? THIS is torture.

What a juxtaposition of headlines.

WASHINGTON (AP) The Marine Corps on Wednesday planned to charge seven Marines and one sailor with murder in connection with the April death of an Iraqi civilian, a defense official said.

FOX NEWS U.S. Soldiers Tortured, bodies booby-trapped.

How in the hell can we fight a war against these vermin with the rules of engagement that were engineered decades ago against armies who wore uniforms and had some kind of front lines?

I hate to say this, but, we either do what we did in Faluja in these other towns or we need to get the hell out completely. THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT MUST CHANGE to reflect the enemy we are fighting.
The Bush administration AND the Pentagon need to step up and go on the offensive and STOP defending themselves in this fight.

Our ACE media and our ACE politicians are only outraged when our enemy are offended with panties on their heads or dogs barking in their faces. I hate our media, I hate democrats and I hate Europeans too!

"They were killed by two Iraqis who were supposedly working with us."

I don't think that's correct. I think the two you are referring to were killed in 2004. Going to double-check.

WHERE ARE REAL MEN GOING TO HIT THE STREETS IN SUPPORT OF OUR PRESIDENT AND TROOPS?

A bunch of us been there, done that, in Crawford. A whole other bunch is doing it on a continuing basis outside Walter Reed in DC. Then there are the Patriot Guards. I just read a story where 600 of them, and their Harleys, showed up at a soldiers funeral to screen the mourners from the Westboro Baptist bunch of idiots.

I have opined on these pages that the U.S.A. subscribes to such things as the Geneva Convention in an effort to protect our people and not as an effort to look out for our enemies. That being said, we should announce today that beginning tomorrow, the United States Military will reciprocate the treatment provided to our solders by the enemy. Starting tomorrow, we should publicly draw and quarter a dozen Iraqi prisoners in public. Everyday thereafter, we should do the same to another dozen until the bastards who did this to our guys are turned over to the U.S. Army.

I heard a woman call into talk radio (local) this morning asking where the outrage from the American muslim communtiy was.......the host went on and on about how muslims are "afraid" to speak up........the woman wasn't buying the crap however.
IMHO Any religion which condones murder and butchery does not belong in America. And that doesn't make me a racist.

That is what should be done to the man who did it to them.

Then bury the carcases with pig entrails. Take pictures and make sure the terrorists see them to show them what their fate will be. That will likely give them pause.

I'm not kidding. Adopting tactics like these stopped an Islamic uprising in the Philippines in the 1950s dead in its tracks.

Can't wait to see what the islamofacists do to the smelly hippies when they can get their hands on them. What is it with these people? Don't they understand that these muslim nutbags will kill them as easy as they would kill and American soldier or civilian? Idiots, plain and simple, mind dumb idiots.......

Anyone who worries that we are torturing our prisoners isn't a serious person. You can try to engage them in a serious argument but you aren't going to get one.

If you think handling a Koran with bare hands is torture, if you think putting woman's underwear on someone's head is torture, you are completely unable to process the meaning of words, the meaning of the simplest of words eludes you. You will not ready for the adult table, where adults discuss adult issues, like how to secure the country.

In the real world, the man who would humiliate a prisoner is obviously deserving of censure, and he will get it. But he isn't going to come through your window and cut your head from your body. It is never going to happen. There are real people who cut real heads from real bodies, and they do it for reasons that make no sense to anyone other than themselves. These men are your enemies, if you are capable of processing that concept.

The men, kids sometimes, men and women both, that we send to confront these monsters are not saints in any cartoonish or juvenile notion of the word. But they are noble and brave enough to put themselves in mortal danger on our behalf. The least we can do, what we owe them, is to stand behind them when the bullets and the accusations fly.

They have rules that they live by, and they will face the consequences when they step over the line. But they are at war with head-choppers who care nothing about rules of engagement. There will be no commission to investigate the men who slice our soldiers' heads from their bodies. There will only be other soldiers who will put themselves on the line to do what normal people fear to do, which is to close with the enemy and kill them.

it is almost as though the leadership of our nation has told the citizens of the nation to 'go to h*ll'

Nothing rips the facade from the blatant anti-Americanism of the Left and its Propaganda Machine (the Mainstream Newsmedia) like this does.

This odious Propaganda Machine has earned and deserves the utter contempt of decent people everywhere.

Is her description of the two GIs' fate true ?

Apparently, it is. Yesterday, Gen. Caldwell was so shaken, he could hardly speak. He refused to give much detail at the presser, just saying the desecrations were so bad, that it required DNA to identify the remains.

Now we (me at least) know the details of the Islamic savagery perpetrated on these wonderful men. Muhammad made war this way and all Muslims are commanded to emulate his life

Muhammad the assassin. This brigand is about the worst figure to build a religion (cult actually) round. And to think the Muslims call Mo the perfect man, a most worthy example for all mankind to emulate. And faithful Muslims are ordered to emulate his life

If it were not for President Bush and his aggressive, wise leadership, such horrors as this could well be occurring in the United States right now.

It must be because they didn't put panties on the soldiers heads and let dogs bark at them. The NY Times seems to notice when those means of torture are used.

I wrote to CAIR yesterday, asking for a comment. Nothing. Checked their webpage, where they keep close track of the latest "atrocities'. Nothing there, either.

I am now going to call our local rag and ask if they plan an editorial on this, one where they don't take the terrorists' side. Not holding my breath.
