John Kerry still has not signed his Form 180; removes Navy records from web
one vet's opinion | 6/21/06

Posted on 06/21/2006 12:05:44 PM PDT by pabianice

It is now 17 months since John Kerry "promised" to sign his Form 180, allowing the Navy to release to the public his Navy record. He lied. Not only has he not signed his 180, he has removed from the web what few, edited records he had released prior to the 2004 presidential election.

This is the man who is again running form president in 2008. The man who garnered the support of only five other senators in demanding we do a "kerry" and run from Iraq with our tails between our legs, a la his disservice in Vietnam.

He honestly thinks he can run again without releasing this form? Does he think the Swiftboat vets will suddenly just go away?
Does he think we will forget?
What is with this maroon?

I think there's a basic problem here. He doesn't think. And the Democrats wanted to make this guy the President?

I hope someone kept a snapshot of what was on his website before so that it can be compared to whatever he releases in the future (if he releases anything in the future).

We might add that Duke Cunningham is a real war hero as well. His exempolary service to our country didn't keep him out of prison on corruption charges. But of course, he's a Republican.

I just took some DVDs out of the local library and was suprised to find one about Kerry and the Swift Boats on the rack. I read the reviews on the back and then noticed who did them. That was enough, I put it back. It was praised by that guy that juggled a grenade and lost his limbs. It was the "true story" of Kerry's tour in Nam. True, yeah, of course it was. (SARC) Probaby produced by the DNC and played on PBS.

This has to be the dumbest man in the history of politics!! He just doesn't "get it". I guess he thinks American citizens have undergone a mass lobotomy or, maybe, the increase in global temperatures have fried our brains---just since the 2004 elections.

Obviously, he still thinks he can win an election with only the support of the "looney left".

i had every scrap and i adiosed it after the election.

captains Quarters may have 'em.
bandit may have 'em.
I checked the swifties and I don't see 'em.

I was able to pull some from "Find Law", but not all of them

http://news.findlaw.com/legalnews/lit/election2004/docs.html

interesting thing was, all the documents redact the
Service Number. One of the later (1971 ish) documents had redacted his Service Number, but left his SSN unredacted.

It started 044-xx-xxxx

(SSNs replaced Service Numbers, but I don't know when exactly)

I believe Kerry DID sign a Form 180 in the May-June 2005 timeframe, but for release to selected reporters. Here is a link in the Powerline Blog Archives: http://powerlineblog.com/archives/010795.php

Another at Michelle Malkin's site:

Just got this in an e-mail this am...

On a Saturday afternoon, in Washington, D.C., Senator John Kerry's campaign manager visited the Cardinal of the Catholic cathedral. He told the Cardinal that John Kerry would be attending the next day's sermon, and he asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Kerry to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Kerry a saint.

The Cardinal replied, "No, I don't really like the man, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over certain of Kerry's views."

Kerry's manager then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to your church if you'll just tell the congregation you see Kerry as a saint."

The Cardinal thought about it and said, "Well, the church can use the money, so I'll work your request into tomorrow's sermon."

As Kerry's manager promised, Senator Kerry appeared for the Sunday sermon and seated himself prominently at the edge of the main aisle.

And, during the sermon, as promised, the Cardinal pointed out that Senator Kerry was present. Then the Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, "While Senator Kerry's presence is probably an honor to some, he is not my favorite person. Some of his views are contrary to those of the church, and he tends to flip-flop on many other views. John Kerry is a petty, self absorbed hypocrite, anal thumb sucker, and a nit-wit. John Kerry is a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief."

"John Kerry is the worst example of a Catholic I've ever personally witnessed. He turned on his buddies in Viet Nam. He wrote a book and portrayed himself in the best light when he was a traitor to his fellow servicemen. He has lied about his military record and had the gall to put himself in for a medal including the Silver Star with V, which does not exist."

"He married for money and is using it to lie to the American people. He also has a reputation for shirking his senatorial obligations both here, in Washington, and in Massachusetts. He simply isn't to be trusted."

The Cardinal completed his view of Kerry with, "But, when compared to Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator Kerry is a saint."

I'd bet my next paycheck that Skerry is hiding a General Discharge from the public.
Skerry is a LIAR, and he is a LIAR, and he is a LIAR. Every combat vet out there should demand the provable, factual truth directly from his military records!!!!
Sign the form Skerry and let the world see the truth!!!!!

In my mind Kerry got a less-than-honorable discharge in 1971-72.....the weasel Jimmy Carter gave him and other traitors amnesty.....otherwise this sorry S.O.B. never could have run for dog catcher let alone the US Senate.

KERRY SIGNS SF-180 FORM

This is saying Kerry signed the Form 180, but He did Not send it in.

Kerry has to realize that this will never go away no matter how he spins this.

Unfortunately he is not the dumbest. That honor goes to another Massachusetts Presidential hopeful. Michael (Dummy) Dukakis. It was even pointed out on nationl TV when Ted Koppel commented to an answer by Dukakis with "you just don't get it". This was in response to how he would treat someone who was raping his wife.

I would bet that it is much worse. It is probably a Dishonorable. This based on the fact that the statements he made as to why his medals were reissued is because he lost them. The facts are the military does not "reissue" medals that are lost they will instead provide a certified copy that the medals were indeed issued to that individual. The only way a medal could be "reissued" is if the original recipient had been stripped of them, such as through a courts martial, and someone with a lot of political pull applied pressure.(The Peanut Farmer?)
