I disagree, Mike. It's what you say that's important. Not necessarily how you present your words.
And any car salesman is already shaking his head. What made Reagan SO great, outside of his ideas? It was HOW he communicated. He could talk the bark off of a tree if he had too. If your ideas are clearly presented in a consistent and calm manner, people WON'T turn you off. No one likes to be yelled at.

Yes. But you have to talk to Liberals in the only language they understand. Liberals get their way because they are pushy and loud. People seldom push back, but thanks to Savage and other talk show hosts, we are learning.

"He feels the need to put down other radio hosts for no real apparent reason." That's putting it mildly.
That is the #1 reason why I am Anti-Weiner. If he were to cut that crap out, then he would have my respect. Same goes for other "Freepers".

"My philosophy as a conservative is to ALWAYS react in a logical fashion. That way it's FAR easier to debunk and unarm the super-EMOTIONAL liberals you'll be dealing with in the political arena. The problem with being angry seemingly all of the time, like Savage is, is that he's just the other side of the same coin as the uber-emotional liberal he's destroying. Emotions play funny games with you, especially when you are worked up into a froth. At the risk of sounding like Mr. Spock, all issues should be dealt with in an un-emotional way, that way the reasoning is better behind the action that results. Being human, we aren't perfect, but Savage doesn't even try. And when you get pissed at some un-American bastard, he wins, because that's EXACTLY what the un-American bastard wants."
Worth re-posting on this thread.

Nope. You don't try to reason with the liberal. S/He has already made their mind up. You are talking to the other people who **might** be hearing the conversation. Those are the people you need to convince, not yourself and not the liberal.

if someone accepts rape-a-nations , they get back on the fugging boat. one way ticket to SUDAN maybe the muzzies will treat them nicely.
LARRY Elder had a caller call in and said he would accept a won way ticket, Larry said if he is legit, he would start up a fund.

The way I see the political game that is played by talking heads, and Golden Mikes is, it takes many different tactics to push an agenda. The number one thing about the Conservatives outside of the Pro-life movement, is they always try to debate within rules, and act polite. They will wait until there is a break in conversation, before making a point most of the time. This is why the Demons have gotten such a hold on America, and a lot of our children are such brats. The adults (read that as Conservatives) among us try to keep things orderly and quiet, when they should be screaming their heads off in disagreement. That is why the Republicans are to blame, for all of the Social programs we are burdened with, they are supposed to be the adults, not the enablers. That can be applied in so many areas, it is a truism to me.

I am a carbon copy of Savage, at least his temperament. I cannot stomach BS, PC or those that claim to want to improve my lot in life if only I give them some more power. I imagine a high percentage of his listeners, and those that follow these threads are the same way, or they wish those in leadership would act like he does.
I heard Medved call Tancredo a "nutburger" today. Last week, he claimed that he had never heard of the "NAFTA superhighway". I listen to him often, but he has credibility only in certain areas. Savage, fills those areas nicely, and the gaps in most of the others talk shows.

So... correct me if I'm wrong... you have no respect for Savage, because he puts down other radio personalities. And you have no respect for "Freepers" that do the same.
Yet here you are, putting Savage down.
I'm going to assume you are above judgement and just wander away, biting my tongue.

That was as great a showdown with a caller as he's had since he's been back.
Although, Savage seemed to have softened a bit on the illegal immigration issue today, compared to a few weeks ago. I hope he's just burned out on it, as he mentioned today.

I used to listen to Medved, but there's something strange about that guy.
Plus, he hates Savage almost as much as.... wait a minute, he might have posted here yesterday.

"Yet here you are, putting Savage down." Eureka! This is a Forum isn't it?
" I'm going to assume you are above judgement and just wander away, biting my tongue."
You know what they say about the word "assume" right?
Don't be the first part of "assume".

When Medved talks about the immigration policy, or lack of it, he is just as strident as Savage, only on the other side. At times he pretends to not know about things that are in the news, if they illustrate the other side of an argument, that he vehemently disagrees with. Like the NAFTA highway, or anything to do with globalisms front men or corporations. He is clearly a sounding board for those that see the conspiracy of the one world to come, yet denies that those discussions or plans exist. He, along with some others in radio, set up the discussion with lamebrain callers, to ridicule points of view, and make his side look good.
