In six years in the White House, George W. Bush has screwed up so many things, you have to wonder: Is he unlucky or incompetent?
Well, now we know.
Thanks to the Lovenstein Institute of Scranton, Pennsylvania, which just released a study of the IQ of twelve American presidents, over the last 50 years. And the results are well, not surprising.
The average IQ of six Republican presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43 was 115.5. President Nixon topped the list, at 155.
The average IQ of six Democratic presidents Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, and Clinton was 156. With President Clinton leading the class at 182.
The smartest president of the last 50 years?
You guessed it: Bill Clinton, with his 182 IQ.
The least intelligent president of the last 50 years?
You guessed it again: George W. Bush, with his rock bottom IQ of 91: seven points lower than his Daddy.
So now we know. Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Social Security, Medicare, Stem Cells, FEMA, the deficit, immigration
The reason George Bush has screwed up in so many areas the last six years.
Hes not just incompetent. Hes just plain dumb the dumbest president in the last 50 years. And, probably, the dumbest president ever!
Thats my parting shot for today. Im Bill Press.

Be sure to get screen caps before he censors it! :-)
Well i took the test and failed
actually i think i did pretty good until i got to the end and saw they wanted my email. Then i remembered i had taken the test some time ago and did not get a score because i dont give out my email for no reason. So, just as before i did all that thinking for nothing. I guess if i had an IQ over 100, i would have remembered the test from before
Yeah, a guy who does not know what "is" is.
And 125 would be about right. Hillary pulled him up that high.
you vould have just put in a false email like email@example.com or something...
IQ scales vary from test to test. The only way to make sense of the score is to look at the percentile ranking a test's score represents. If you look at the entry requirements for organisations like Mensa, you will see different score requirements depending on the test. They require one to be in the 98% percentile on any of their approved tests.
Is that so? Tell me, which "tests vary?"
Does the WAIS vary with the Stanford-Binet? Or does Mensa use astrology to measure IQ?
Our boy Bonehead also worked as a golden boy reporter in Nam where his main accomplishment was inspecting his rifle by looking down the barrel (as per a famous photo). Then back in the States, he worked as a crack reporter for a Nashville newspaper (as I recall) where he did an investigative piece with information fed to him by a source named Erog Trebla (he didn't figure out that some darned old mean Pubbie had tricked him until after the story ran).
Of course, all of this was caused by his traumatic childhood of living in the Biltmore Hotel by night and chopping, stripping and hanging tobacco by day.
Fortunately, the ever resilient one recovered enough gray matter to invent the Internet, become a professor at the Columbia School of Journalism, and produce a cutting-edge scientific crocumentary movie.
And to think, had the Democraps only managed to manufacture a few more dimpled, hanging chads, this genius would have become president.
Yes indeed. They all have different (slightly in some cases) scales so the only way to compare is to go by the percentile for a given score for that test.
Saying something like "my IQ is 123" is meaningless unless the test used is known. This is a popular misconception about IQ scores.
This guy is so stupid. Talk about old news - I had forgotten about this hoax. And now he writes an article in 2006 on it again? LOL - how ironic he does this in an attempt to question the President's intelligence and demonstrates himself to be the one that is stupid.
Yes. LOL. That's exactly the message I just sent to him with a link to the snopes findings. "You did not succeed in your attempt to expose the President as stupid, and, indeed, you exposed your own apparent lack of intelligence. This was exposed as a hoax five years ago."
Oh, too bad, Bill. Give Joe Lieberman our best though.
The Lovenstein Institute at work.
I used the web form.
It's sad the host of that show died in a plane crash earlier this year.
"Ah, yes. I know people with that and it even clouds their ability at work."
I have worked with people like that. One lasted only one month before I ran him off the jobsite. Nothing but HATEBUSHHATEBUSHBUSHISSTUPIDNOWARFOROIL...... And this bozo claims to be an engineer? I wound up having to fix 3/4's of what little work he did. I will say one thing for the dude, he would have fit in well in Minnesota.
And isn't it funny how Dems. claim Bush never had any success or made anything of himself before becoming president. Bush was the successful owner of a profitable baseball franchise and came into the White House a millionaire with his own money, not daddy's. What was Gore ever other than a hack politician??
Let's see. How about war hero, tobacco farmer, investigative reporter, environmental scientist and inventor of the Internet for starters?
And while we're at it, what was Bubba Clinton ever other than a hack politician, or Hitlery Clinton, or Lurch Kerry, or any of the Kennedy's, or Johnson, or any other Dempcrap presidential candidate for the past century? The only one I can think of who ever had a paying job was Give'em-Hell Harry, and he sold men's suits off the rack. Not exactly a great legacy, is it?
This seems to explain why the Democraps are so eager to give away money wrung out of the working class. They have no concept of gainful employment, let alone owning a business.
There are only two generally recognised IQ tests that are used for adults. Those tests are the Stanford-Binet and the WAIS. Both tests do not vary in any meaningful way concerning what they are designed to measure, namely "g" or general intelligence.
More than you think. 100 is average -- you should know as many folks with 92 as you do with 108.
It generally takes scores into the lower 80s and below to be truly mentally challenged.
But you repeat yourself. :)
Yes I did. I was Dr. Werner R. Lovenstein and I snuck in references to Marcus Welby and the movie Its a Mad, Mad, Mad World. :-)
But archived on google. :-) Get screen caps while you still can! :-)
He's going to go blind if he keeps doing that.
Hey Bro, I think we're related.
This is the EXACT defense almost every liberal gives once they learn that they have been taken in by the lovenstein hoax. I've seen it happen dozens of times on message boards and blogs.
"Well, it may be a hoax, but its still close to the truth!"
Now, that is funny!
The number one requirement to be a Democrat is to be gullible.
Bill has/had a great memory and that was it.
No understanding the data, just memorized it.
The link at the top of your post no longer works. Has this been pulled?
Yes it has been pulled, but its archived on google.
Ah, behold the Google cache! :-)
This is his latest piece of filth. Does this guy ever do any research before he writes?
Yes. He is great at politics.
I doubt it :-)
I was suspicious of this when it came out, for the simple reason that Clinton's IQ was EXACTLY twice Bush's IQ.
After I found out that it was a hoax, I watched an episode of Seinfeld where it was Elaine's birthday, and George and Jerry were both giving her cash. Jerry told George not to give her more than half of what he was giving her. George gave her $91 and Jerry gave her, you guessed it, $182.
When I saw that I felt like Chaz Pallminteri at the end of "The Usual Suspects".
