I saw Santana a few years ago, the band literally sucked, the drummer (some indian guy) was the best part of the show. Carlos seemed to be sleepwalking his way through the concert. What a burnout.

He is one the best guitarist ever when he was in his prime with John McLaughlin. He just looked old and burned out, not really into the show. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who felt ripped off with the performance.

He is leftwing Mexican, what else do you expect?
To: blackbart.223
Played like he smoked an ounce of some killer buds. He looked like he was in a coma for most of the show.

Dear Carlos,
Be sure to remind all your old hippie friends and their beautiful peaceloving children that they can Help Save the Planet by participating in "National Ride Your Bike to the Polls on Election Wednesday."

Isn't Santana making women's shoes now as well as being an aging musician? I'm not joking. I believe he has gone into shoe manufacturing.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you!

His music sucked from day one.Not so. Problem is he's still playing that same old guitar solo in every song.

I never understood the "magic" of Santana. I wonder why he has never been prosecuted for plagiarism given that his tunes contain melodies from great latin music including Cuban music.
Maybe castro has given him special permission to do that...given that they are both Santeros.
