I just watched the Israeli Tourism Minister,Issac Herzog, who also sits on the Israeli Defense Committee, explain to CNN's woof, woof why Israel had to bomb a residential area.
Seems they had incontrovertible intel that many rockets hitting Israeli cities were being shot from the area so they advised the locals to get lost and waited an appropriate time and then let their own response fly into lebanon.
Of course everyone(all msm's DBM's) are pissed at the Israeli's for defending themselves but what else would you expect. Anyway Herzog did a stellar job of explaining the Israeli side to woof.
I am sure he(woof, woof) has forgotten everything by now but then that's CNN isn't it.
Looks like the "peace plan" is getting closer,by the Way Condi has handled things masterfully IMHO. The big debate at this point will be whether Israel gets another 5 or 10 days to kill off the Hezzie rocketeers.
Stay tuned to FR.
This is so good I just can't stop laughing. Where do you come up with this stuff MNJ?
There may be, but I doubt that French-Tunisians make up one-third of the armed forces.
It's B.D.S. (Bush Derangement Syndrome). Gabler's got it bad.
The Israeli Massacre of Civilians at Qana ... and children taking refuge in a UN peace-keeping compound in Qana, southern Lebanon, to escape Israeli air, ... |
Israel now has everyone's attention and the pressure for an immediate ceasefire is mounting, which is actually helpful for Israel's and our negotiating position. The ceasefire will happen next week once the two Israelis are released.
EWWW!! Johnnie, do you have ANY idea what a revolting visual that comment brings to mind??
But it might could explain why Clinton had Monica in the oval orifice whilst Arafat cooled his heels.
[sorry]
"It is absurd for Tim Russert to ask reporter Richard Engle why there are still civilians, women and childen, in areas where Israel has dropped leeaflets telling them to leave. Engle goes into apologist mode and says, these people are poor, they can't afford cabs to get out of the dangerous places. Russert or Engle should have told viewers Hizzbollah has the resources to move women and children out of harms way. They are loaded with money, and if they didn't want to use them as human shields, as PR fodder, they would have done so. "
Same as New Orleans, so it must be Bush's fault!
I interpret Mara's comments about Hezbollah being civilians and vice versa the way Roccus did. She was criticizing Hezbollah and the entire issue of calling victims in this war "civilians." The term is meaningless in this kind of conflict. That is the intention of the terrorists, mingle with innocents while they fire off their own weapons thus drawing fire on them, then bring in their captive media to lament the "massacre" caused by their "hated enemies" (us or the Israelis, mostly).
I knew Mara in High School (some 35 years ago) and she was very pro Israel then. That may have colored how I perceived what she was saying, but that's my take.
"For some reason, FOX seems to thrive on highlighting weirdos."
Would you rather see rabid, out of control, conservatives (yes, there are some). Let the people see the difference and make up their ownn minds. Heraldo or Brit?? Hard decision.
ROFLLL!!
VERY TRUE!
yet the world just doesn't see what is really going on here.....
If we ban burning the flag- people go nutz about free speech...these goofs ban MOBILE PHONE and are icons....
oy!
Not to mention Syria continues to arm the insurgents in Iraq AGAINST our troops!!
Friedman is a naive fool!
#190, Fantastic post, this is going to probably be one of the best Sunday Talk Show threads ever. Almost every post is a keeper, and Freepers are setting the standards for the rest of the media, mostly the New Media, the Old DBM is too stuck on DNC talking points and faxes to have any standards.
"Juan is so worried about "inflaming" the Arab street (that damn phrase is back again). "
Thw "Arab Street" is, in reality, the Red-Light district.
I SAID I was guessing, was trying to have a conversation with you but you just want to pick at what I said. Good bye.
