The media is little more than a red herring.

That is the funniest thing I have heard lately...The liberal media like the Palm Beach Post is only a little red herring...They are doing conservatives a favor by printing this story so She will not be elected...and RINO's will have something to complain about...Do you really believe that statement...Thanks for a really good laugh today....

I didn't say she was Hillary. I was responding to a post that said it sounded like Hillary.

I don't have anything against conservatives. But I'm not blind enough to believe that there is no problem with her - and that it is entirely with (a) the staffers, from the top spot to the lowliest, who have left in droves and (b) the media.

As far as candidates who are so full of themselves that they would berate another person over a cup of coffee - well, that just ain't my kind of person. I'd rather vote for someone who made coffee in their own kitchen and offered a cup to the staffer when they showed up.

Okay folks, you know the drill. First, blame the media. Then, question your fellow FReepers' conservative credentials, intelligence, sanity and/or mother's heritage. Then, when all else fails, post the Horse Picture.

/There ya go folks, you can move on to the next thread now.

They do not work for her per sey...

I'd work for her per sey.

I'd work for the chance to even see her per sey.

OK.. I live in Florida... know the national and local Republicans pretty well.. this report is all about getting rid of Harris.. just follow the relationships and money... The Bushes do not like Harris-for a number of reasons, some valid - they have publicly and privately asked her not run... Jim Dornan is a "patsy" for a man by the name of Ari.. a close associate/on the take from several big time Florida campaign contributors to the Bushes.. he or Ari are getting paid big time for this "enlightenment".. Ari is also on a presidential committee for Brownback in Kansas.. hoping for a payback... while I do not endorse Harris.. I absolutely resent a former campaigner coming forth with such negative discussions - I for one, if I were to run for an office, would NEVER hire Dornan or any of the other Beltway lobbyist.. Dornan, Ari are high paid lobbyist!! By the way.. is there a connection to the large, outspoken Dornan family???

It's always me that does that.

And I just do it cuz I'm horney.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Your blind enough to believe everything the media prints...I am one redneck conservative..Gun toting no nonsense individual...Spent many years in the USAF in many holes of the world...If I thought for one moment she was all that the media has printed then I would not vote for her...I look at her record and it is a solid conservative record...When I had a two tour Viet Nam Vet friend who needed help. She was there to help him...I also know she has stood up for vets all over her district...She protects my gun rights...She stands up against illegal immigration and does every thing as a conservative stands for....She has had to endure this type of media smear every election she has run...Some one made a statement she will be the medias mouth piece in the future....Sounds to me like a few of her ex aides or doing just that now...

Who questioned any one heritage...nor their sanity nor their mothers heritage...It is ok thought to question her conservative credintials or her hair or what ever but when you live in her district and know her record....You should just be quite and let her be smeared...Not this vet...Not today, not tomorrow or next time around....I am not one to run out on a person who has stood with vets time and time again...I do not cut and run....

Rep. Harris may not be inclined to endorse the mediocre BS that passes for performance in the public and private arena. Her criticisms are probably well deserved.

If she can't even run her own office better than this, why should voters want her to help run the country? I might buy "it's their fault" for a few aides, but now it's clear that it's her own meltdown, not the four different sets of aides that have left.

Do you live in Florida...Because if you do go vote for who you want...How about McBride...He marched recently under a Mexico flag...Just who would you vote for in this election...A person that the Republican party put up...Who would that be...Because they put up not one single candidate..If and when she wins the primary and they then do not support who the conservatives in this state elect to run against Nelson. They do not support her then shame on them...She will be the choice...

No, I don't believe everything. But when there are multiple stories, with different sources, all painting essentially the same picture, it doesn't make sense that it is all made up.

But it sounds like our difference is whether the picture is accurate. You believe it is all made up. I believe that, if it is all made up, her campaign is even more inept than it appears. Because if it is all made up, I'd be parading people in front of the cameras and the podium to talk about how it is all lies and how she is wonderful to those 'beneath' her.

I will ask you the same question....Just who would you vote for???She is doing that but do understand how hard it is here in Florida with the liberal media that we have...The problem is the good things about her never ever get printed or if something nice is said...It always has a smear some where...The media and left in this state hate her as much as they do President Bush...I hope that the person who printed a recent letter to the editor paste the same story here...It pretty well sums up how I and several others who support her feel...In time she will answering but why spend all her money in this primary race...The big one is coming up...She will have plenty of time to answer the critics and others at that time..

The Pal Beach Post is second only to the St. Pete Times for the title of the biggest liberal rag in FL.

I spend a fair amount of time in FLA (used to live there, still have family there) - in fact, I was there last week. In her district. And I didn't see anything responding to the steady flow of "she terrorizes everyone working for her." Her events get covered, so she could do it at her events. Direct rebuttal. Straight from her staff's mouths. Also - if it is true that she kept the subpoena from her staff, that was a very stupid move. This is politics - people will work their asses off for you if they believe. The many stories sound like she treats them like employees, not supporters.

Who would I vote for? I know little about these other candidates. Sounds like McBride is trying to trade on mistaken name recognition.

Who is this Vern Buchanan guy? Is anyone running against him in Harris' district?

I haven't seen one single comment from a Harris supporter that strays from the template. Some are just less literate than others.

There is a couple of folks running for her seat...Vern Buchanan owns a bunch of car dealerships...Pretty conservative and has the support of the Sheriff here in Manatee county.Who is very Conservative and been elected here for ever..This race is one that I am still trying to decide who to support...I just do not remember the names of the others...One of the other individuals in this district will chime in with the other names...She is trying to stay above the fray and just carry her message to groups through out Florida...I think you will find her grass root support pretty strong around the state...It will be a battle to beat Nelson. It can be done if her base turns out...I think it will...There is allot of anger at how she is being done...Next time your in the area let me know and we will go take a cruise on the Manatee river if you want...
