Man Who Attacked Transsexuals Gets 206-Year Sentence

Sexual Assaults Took Place In August 2005

A gunman who sexually assaulted two transsexuals and a transvestite last summer was sentenced on Friday afternoon to 206 years to life in prison.

In April, a judge found Joel Kuechmann guilty of multiple charges, including rape by a foreign object, forced oral copulation and possession of a firearm. He will also be sentenced for dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.

Prosecutor Dwayne Moring said he was satistifed with the verdict.

"I'm pleased with the verdict, because in this case, the defendant preyed upon individuals who he believed would be too frightened to report the crimes he committed against them," Moring said.

Moring said Kuechmann met his first transsexual victim outside the Bacchus House Bar on University Avenue. She testified that Kuechmann sexually assaulted her on Aug 9.

A week later, Kuechmann attacked a self-described "transgender woman" at a North Park Community Park. The victim testified that Kuechmann said he would give her a ride to her car, but he took her to the park, where he demanded sex at gunpoint.

Kuechmann was captured by police on Aug. 27 outside the apartment building of his last victim, a transvestite he had met near Malena's Bar in Logan Heights. Moring said he drove back to the victim's Golden Hill apartment. After they had consensual sex, Kuechmann pulled out a gun and forced the victim to wake up his roommate so Kuechmann could sexually assault both of them.

The roommate was able to call police, however, who arrived quickly and surrounded the building. Moring said Kuechmann was hurt when he attempted to elude capture by jumping out of a third-story window.

The attacks were not Kuechmann's first run-in with law enforcement, according to Moring. In 1987, Kuechmann was found guilty of first-degree burglary.

Transvestite is a person that dresses up in clothing of the opposite gender;
i.e., man wearing women's clothing

Transexual is a person that undergoes surgery and hormonal treatment to
imitate the opposite gender;
i.e., a male that gets hormones to grow breasts and at least has his
"naughty bits" removed.

I'm no expert on these matters, but spent enough time in Los Angeles to read
stories in The Los Angeles Times to pick this up.

If anyone doubted that liberal judges will make ridiculous rulings in favor of any LGBT, here's your response. The judicial branch is just plain ludicrous when liberals are on the bench. I mean, 206 years? Liberals let convicted cop killers off with less than that! To all the FReepers reading this: Please sit down with any liberals you might know and point out to them that there is a 14th amendment. I know it'll be tough. They'll deny it vehemently at first. I mean, wouldn't YOU if you were just told that everything you've supported and your party's done for the last thirty years is unconstitutional, unethical, and just plain wrong?

I bet if all the members of FR mailed a copy of the Constitution to a liberal, there would be that many less liberals in this country.
