Sexual Assaults Took Place In August 2005
A gunman who sexually assaulted two transsexuals and a transvestite last summer was sentenced on Friday afternoon to 206 years to life in prison.
In April, a judge found Joel Kuechmann guilty of multiple charges, including rape by a foreign object, forced oral copulation and possession of a firearm. He will also be sentenced for dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.
Prosecutor Dwayne Moring said he was satistifed with the verdict.
"I'm pleased with the verdict, because in this case, the defendant preyed upon individuals who he believed would be too frightened to report the crimes he committed against them," Moring said.
Moring said Kuechmann met his first transsexual victim outside the Bacchus House Bar on University Avenue. She testified that Kuechmann sexually assaulted her on Aug 9.
A week later, Kuechmann attacked a self-described "transgender woman" at a North Park Community Park. The victim testified that Kuechmann said he would give her a ride to her car, but he took her to the park, where he demanded sex at gunpoint.
Kuechmann was captured by police on Aug. 27 outside the apartment building of his last victim, a transvestite he had met near Malena's Bar in Logan Heights. Moring said he drove back to the victim's Golden Hill apartment. After they had consensual sex, Kuechmann pulled out a gun and forced the victim to wake up his roommate so Kuechmann could sexually assault both of them.
The roommate was able to call police, however, who arrived quickly and surrounded the building. Moring said Kuechmann was hurt when he attempted to elude capture by jumping out of a third-story window.
The attacks were not Kuechmann's first run-in with law enforcement, according to Moring. In 1987, Kuechmann was found guilty of first-degree burglary.
He would have gotten less time had he killed them...
That's screwed up...
If they are going to throw around sexual details...
should be:"Homosexual gunman....
Well, golly. Another instance of lunatic liberalism at work. Sexually assault a transexual and get 206 years; sexually assault a child and get 2.
Is this a puzzle?
Gunman, transsexuals, transgender, consensual sex, rape...
We're talking about a bunch of gay guys, right?
Transexuals are a protected minority, children aren't. Children need to organize and form their own PAC, donate to candidates and demand the right to vote.
Don't forget the most serious charge: possession of a firearm.
Yes but sexually assult kids and get 30 days. Oh our PC justice system at work. Protect perverts but not children.
Would have got out in a month if he did it to children instead of transvestites.
Regardless of the specifics here, doesn't a 206-year sentence seem a little, well, overdone? 'Fifty years', yes. 'Life', yes. Even 'death'. But '206 years' just makes the court look ridiculous.
A man that preys on queers and mutilated men is as sick as the people he stalks, and a fruit himself.. Screw him. he needs 206 years.
Even though that is a whole lot more than some murderers get.
What a bs sentence. These trannies are human debris. You would think he beat up a saint.
Happiness is a warm trannie
he would have gotten probation if he would have victimized a child....
Well, he could have gotten 227 years.
Man Who Sexually Assaulted Transsexuals Faces Long Sentence
NBC San Diego - Aug 18 12:01 PM
SAN DIEGO -- A gunman who sexually assaulted two transsexuals and a transvestite last summer could be sentenced to 227 years in prison on Friday afternoon.
Prosecutors don't like to put children on the stand, so they usually cut a deal.
I was watching '48 Hour:Mystery' last week.
The case concerned a man that had murdered an Emory U. coed.
Years before he had kidnapped a 12 y.o girl and had her bound and taped in his basement.(IIRC,Whether she had been assaulted was not mentioned)
His wife found the girl and called the police.
He was sentenced to 4 years and was out in 2.
Now police were investigating him for the coed murder.
He set his house on fire apparently to cover up evidence.
He filed an insurance claim for the fire.
He was convicted of insurance fraud and sentenced to 9 years.
The inequities in the law and justice are absurd.
It is a crying shame.
In my pot-bellied, middle-aged, surburban naivete, I have to ask - what is the difference between a transvestite and a transsexual? I mean, aren't they all just guys dressed like Barbie?
Strange. I looked for a picture of the pervert, Joel Kuechmann, and found out the judge in the case forbade the press from showing his face.
Transvestite is a person that dresses up in clothing of the opposite gender;
i.e., man wearing women's clothing
Transexual is a person that undergoes surgery and hormonal treatment to
imitate the opposite gender;
i.e., a male that gets hormones to grow breasts and at least has his
"naughty bits" removed.
I'm no expert on these matters, but spent enough time in Los Angeles to read
stories in The Los Angeles Times to pick this up.
"A gunman who sexually assaulted two transsexuals and a transvestite last summer was sentenced on Friday afternoon to 206 years to life in prison."
If anyone doubted that liberal judges will make ridiculous rulings in favor of any LGBT, here's your response. The judicial branch is just plain ludicrous when liberals are on the bench. I mean, 206 years? Liberals let convicted cop killers off with less than that! To all the FReepers reading this: Please sit down with any liberals you might know and point out to them that there is a 14th amendment. I know it'll be tough. They'll deny it vehemently at first. I mean, wouldn't YOU if you were just told that everything you've supported and your party's done for the last thirty years is unconstitutional, unethical, and just plain wrong?
I bet if all the members of FR mailed a copy of the Constitution to a liberal, there would be that many less liberals in this country.
BTW, who's writing all these posts that have been removed? (#20,21,22,etc.)
Thanks for the explanation. That's some freaky stuff.
It is a crying shame.
