I didn't post it in full because I wasn't sure about possible copyright violation. But, hey, go for it!

It's been interesting to watch how the leftists and "educators" have put their slogans into practice...

We went from "leave no child behind" to "leave no child's behind alone."

We went from "Do it for the children" to "Do it to the children"...

The most obscene and obnoxious perverts and morons can be found on the payrolls as "teachers" or "professors"...

How long before parents demand an end to Government Indoctrination and Abuse centers - and insist on vouchers to use at a private school of their choice?

Very well stated, and I believe that the 'educational' system as it stands will remain the status quo as long as so very many people have an entitlement mentality...Private schools cost money so that's out, According to the drive-by media, charter schools are the exclusive home of the extremist, right-wing, Pro-Life Bible-thumping hysterics; and vouchers "hurt teachers and schools".  As long as people expect everything to come from the Government and the dominant Leftist media continues to intentionally misrepresent any alternatives, we will be subjected to this tyranny of low expectations and lower results.  Coupled with these low expectations of the students will be low standards for the instructors....we will see more and more kindergarten teachers raping their students and University professors doing the same thing in Thailand and Brazil, mainly because they can afford the airfare that the K-12 teachers may not be able to.

Actually, drawing and quartering comes to mind...

An excellent solution, particularly if it's broadcast and it's done quickly after the conviction...this business of having lowlifes wait for 20+ years on death row while the ACLU files endless appeals and stays has got to go.  Justice delayed is justice denied.

This guy ought to work for the UN.

He would certainly fit right in, from what I've heard

This is not the first time Ward has been accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. In 1999, he was fined $2,500 and sentenced to five years probation after entering a plea that, while not admitting guilt, acknowledged that there was sufficient evidence to convict him. He had been charged with allegedly soliciting sex from a state trooper posing as a 15-year-old.

The same alleged incident had resulted in charges against Ward in 1996. In that year, he was acquitted of one count, while the jury deadlocked on two others.

Ward was acquitted in 1995 of charges that he paid a teenage boy for sex "as many as 50 to 100 times," according to Daily Pennsylvanian coverage at the time.

And he remains a shining light within academia, as far as his fellow faculty enablers are concerned.  I would imagine that most had no problem with his antics as they were doing the same, and those who weren't didn't want to appear politically incorrect...."it's just sex", after all....

Ward, 63, drew the attention of federal agents because of his unusual number of trips to Thailand, a destination for people seeking sex with minors, according to an affidavit released Monday.

After Ward reluctantly allowed agents to examine his laptop computer, a video was found showing two children who looked to be as young as 8 engaged in sexual activity, the affidavit from Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Byron C. Braggs said.

He will claim that he was merely mentoring some 'troubled youths' and what he did was entirely culturally appropriate, given the locale, and how dare we cast judgment upon a superior culture....they are far more enlightened than we are, after all.

10- and 20-year sentences to Thai prisons would also do the trick.

I would certainly applaud that, particularly if his sentence was accurately reported on back here in the USA, so that it could serve as an example and provide a deterrent effect.

Cambodia has also been slow to action, but they've finally started throwing these guys in (Cambodian) prisons and deporting them when necessary.

That's good to hear, although the Gary Glitter matter didn't give me a great deal of hope.  Apparently, bribing witnesses and victims is written into Cambodian law, so he was able to escape much punishment as I recall.

Word there is that the NGOs will now start targeting the Asian pedophiles, because the message has been properly heard by Western peds.

Good to hear, and I hope that it provides a deterrent.  Far too many children have had their lives needlessly destroyed by this filth.

The University of Pennsylvania issued the following statement today, relating to Ward's arrest, "We are currently gathering information about the situation and will take appropriate action as soon as we know more."

Of course by "appropriate action" they mean "rally to his defense".

Yes, his "exemplary academic credentials" will be waved about and they will try to make the case of what terrible damage it would do to academia and the entire world to be without him....he is a shining example to all and was only doing the culturally accepted activities while out of the country...

I sincerely hope that they will take this route, because next term their enrollment numbers will be cut in half.

Savage will have a field day with this story when he gets back from vacation.

Yes, and I hope that other hosts do as well.  I haven't had the opportunity to listen to the radio today so I don't know how well this story has been picked up, but hopefully it will gain some steam.  This "University" is long overdue for a really big black eye.

An Ivy League business school professor is in federal custody for allegedly having videos of himself engaging in sexual acts with children, ABC News has learned.

..local Philly TV was a little more specific, saying that he had been involved with "young boys" - maybe ABC was trying to avoid the wrath of the gay lobby.....

I have no doubt that you're correct...usually when the drive-by media is obviously dancing around a racial or sexual issue, it's because it involves  a racial or sexual minority or, as in this case, a deviant sexual criminal.  Thank Goodness we have so many media choices now; with a little effort we can ultimately come up with the full story, in many cases, despite their efforts.

I'd put a bullet in his head !

I agree in principle, of course, but don't you think that your suggestion is an overly kind one, considering his crimes, and may not serve to provide much deterrent effect?

I've recently become a big fan of impalement for slime like this, and another poster provided an excellent suggestion of having him drawn and quartered.

I confess that I'm still leaning toward impalement because it can sometimes take several days for the impalee to die, and it's a particularly agonizing death.

Great deterrent value.

He will be in a "safe" part of the prison. We protect these pervs. They can do what they like to children and yet we don't allow the other inmates to have at them.

Agreed, and this really ticks me off.  Prison should be a place that everyone avoids at all costs, for all sorts of reasons.

I am all for just killing them off ASAP so they can't re offend. Hang them, stone them ,etc. Just make it hurt and make them gone forever.

Even though I am in healthcare and have dedicated my life to compassionately helping people in pain, my sentiments are opposite in cases like this....I want them to scream in the maximum possible agony for as long as possible...and then die....providing it serves as an example and a deterrent.  This business of letting them cool their heels for 20+ years on death row with endless appeals absolutely infuriates me.  Justice delayed is justice denied.

Hard time in general population. I'm sure Bubba and the boys on D Block will know how to treat their new child molester cell mate .

That would be nice, but I fear that he will be protected from the Bubbas....and so his incarceration will have little deterrent effect.

I want the legal system changed so that extreme torture is allowed by law for slime like this.

I want his torture to be implemented by the very worst clinical psychopaths and I want it to last for a long time....and I want it to be broadcast so that it will have a deterrent effect.

He will say that he was just doing research.

According to his resume, he was a professor at Chula. It is the most prestigeous university in the country. They don't just accept anyone to teach there.

The Thai University may have been completely unaware of his past crimes and his current activities while in their country.  I'm sure that U-Penn took great pains to protect his privacy.

I hope that they do, because it will cause the sane and usually quiet and docile majority to absolutely come unglued.  They think that they're 'oppressed' now....wait till they start complaining a bit more.

I am amazed at the seemingly endless pit of depravity. There is no heinous a crime than exploiting the trust of a young child to commit a crime like this. It is absolutely reprehensible

...usually when the drive-by media is obviously dancing around a racial or sexual issue, it's because it involves a racial or sexual minority or, as in this case, a deviant sexual criminal...of course when the sexually deviant behavior involved the Catholic Church, the MSM had no problem "outting" all the priests involved - in that case their hatred of the Church far outweighed their desire to protect gays - in the case of this story, it was easy to try to suppress the gay dimension, since the indivudual being protected was very probably one of their own, a left wing academic type......
