Whatever else it may be about, I know it's in part about kiddie beauty pageants, and those creep me out, in any context. Even if they're making fun of them, I don't want to see anything having to do that sick, freakish phenomena.

I just saw it and somewhat agree with the posters thoughts. It did seem like kiddie porn towards the end. Overall, it seemed to try to hard to be an 'independent movie" FYI for 24 fans, Chloe makes an appearance in the pageant scene, she was wearing a headset and I an convinced Jack was on the other end

One film I found repulsive, offensive, and boring was "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (which did receive one or one and a half star rating).

Glad Dr Seuss wasn't alive to have to see what Hollywood did to that and "The Cat In the Hat."
