Here is a link to McGruffs backup board if Free Republic is down click here which hasn't been happening much lately thanks to the fine work of the FR team.
I am fascinated at the amount of time being spent on a story about there maybe being a story.
Mika is happy to have a suicide bomber in Iraq to report along with the amazingly good news.

Roger Ailes, the chairman of the Fox News Channel, calls Shepard Smith his go-to guy, the person he wants leading the channels coverage any time news breaks. Mr. Ailes has put his networks money where he wants its chief voice to be. Last week, Mr. Smith signed a new contract that will take him, a former local news reporter from Holly Springs, Miss., into financial territory usually occupied only by network news anchors. Although Fox did not release the exact terms of the new deal, an executive briefed on the them said that Mr. Smith, who is 43, had signed...

Clinton Campaign Copying Nixon's Tricks, Novak Says By Susan Jones CNSNews.com Senior Editor November 19, 2007 (CNSNews.com) - Columnist Robert D. Novak says two Democrats have told him that supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton are spreading the word that she has "scandalous information" about Sen. Barack Obama -- but has decided not to use it. "The nature of the alleged scandal was not disclosed," Novak wrote in his column over the weekend. "This word-of-mouth among Democrats makes Obama look vulnerable and Clinton look prudent," Novak wrote. Appearing on Fox & Friends Monday morning, Novak said his primary source is a...

Columnist Robert Novak stood by his story Monday that the Clinton campaign is spreading the word that it's holding back on dishing dirt on Barack Obama, and charged the Democratic frontrunner with playing "Nixon tricks." "This is very similar to the kind of trick that Richard Nixon used to pull, where he would say, 'I know some very bad information about the communists supporting George McGovern, but I can't put that out because it wouldn't be right, but I'm just too good of a guy,' " Novak said. Novak's initial report said: "Agents of Sen. Hillary Clinton are spreading the...
FYI: Rush will be simulcasting on FNC at 1:30 PM EST.
I have FNC on now so that I won’t miss one minute :)
Thank you so much, my dear FRiends. You all are always in my heart. Love.
This is good news about Bernie, too.
Good morning, friends.
Will Joe show, or is he still hung over.
Nope, no Joe.
Mika just did the top stories of the day — all negative. Not a word that even the NYTimes is reporting good news from Iraq.
MSNBC — hate speech and lies from morning to night.
David Schuster, liar extraordinaire is the morning host in place of Joe? Egads....MSNBC really is desperate.
The snarky, nasty Elizabeth Edwards is shown as the last on the guest list.
OMG!!! Willey Geist just held up the front page of the NYTimes and said that the times is reporting things are getting better in Iraq, then he said the LATimes is reporting it also....then we go to Lizzy Edwards. NO PRAISE for our troops; NOPE, not one positive word from the lefty propagandists at MSNBC.
Laverne, I am watching this with you with my jaw hanging.
The American military, backed by a President who would not give up, has accomplished that which is miraculous and they are just choking on it.
David Shuster accuses Fox of not being a paragon of journalistic integrity. David Shuster...he has it on good authority that Karl Rove is going to be indicted...any day now.
There's hope for him as opposed to David Shyster. Scarborough and Tucker Carlson are two others who don't follow the play book some times. Heck, France even elected a republican. Who woulda thunk that?
Not much for me to comment on today. A couple of stories on FNFs I'll see if I can find.
I saw this on FNFs but didn't think it was appropriate. Swift Kids For Truth. It used kids in a political ad and the Swift Boat topic is not something to be joked about. Going to have to look into who created this. Just my opinion.
A little more from Imus Returns to TV, Too
The radio personality, who returns to the airwaves Dec. 3 on WABC-AM, will debut the same day on the seven-year-old cable and satellite television station that caters to viewers with homes on the range, the Rural Media Group, Inc., announced Wednesday.
The radio show will be simulcast on weekdays from 6-9 a.m., and will be rebroadcast from 6-9 p.m. each evening, said Patrick Gottsch, founder and president of the Rural Media Group. The program will also be available to RFD's nearly 30 million homes through on-demand services, Gottsch said.
Imus signed a five-year agreement with RFD, Gottsch said. An e-mail sent to Imus' lawyer for comment was not immediately returned Wednesday.
I've never heard of this channel. Anybody get it?
Good morning this hump day, all.
No, McGruff, I never heard of that tv channel. I’m pretty sure I don’t get it.
I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving Day tomorrow.
Joe appears to have taken the entire week off.
That creepy Shuster is in this morning.
They are, of course, going to get orgasmic over that stupid Scott McClellan’s allegation that the non-outing of a non-covert CIA agent went “to the top.”
I’m turning them off.
This made me snicker Bahbah! I KNEW yesterday that Matthews, Olberidiot, Schuster, and all the other propagandists at MSNBC would be all over this so I intentionally stayed away from MSNBC. I understand your feelings in not watching this morning. MSNBC has NEVER addressed the false affidavit filed by the potatoe head and never will address the “drunken” Mrs. Greenspan and her involvement in this story either.
On the Plame non-Case, MSNBC has been front and center in colluding with the DNC to undermine a President with their lies. On this topic, they are unwatchable.
"And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself."
Awfully strong words. Words have consequences as Sen. McCain would say.
David Shyster immediately misstated the facts. I even heard this morning that Mrs.Joe Wilson has found new life with this story. Oh noes! Let's have an investigation. Oh wait we already had one. What were the results again?
The best part is that we're all more concerned about that Thanksgiving turkey than these ones. Gobble, gobble!
Good Friday morning, all.
MSNBC is replaying that awful interview with Michelle Obama in which everything is the fault of racism.
Does anyone really want weeks and weeks of Natalee Holloway stories built on nothing whatever and (timfoil hat on) how did they arrange this to detract from the stunning successes in Iraq?
I’m hoping they have something new on these guys that will put them away like it looks like has happened with O.J.
My wife like to watch Great. She’ll be all over it.
Iraq is really looking good. A few months ago I was one of they ones they’d almost convinced it was time to bring the boys home. Each day the like grows brighter an dimmer for the Harry Reids of the world.
The Imus Enablers Are Ba-a-a-ack!
by Rory O’Connor
“Carville is set to appear as a guest on Imus’ first day back, December 3, but a Newsweek spokesperson announced, “We will not participate in the Imus program.”
Good. They weren't very interesting. Of course, now they have Rove. It would be great to hear from him.
I think I read somewhere that Imus’s first show will have an audience that will be charged admission, with proceeds going to the ranch.
LOL. Why am I not surprised :)
Good Monday morning, all.
The movie “Enchanted” was boffo at the box office. The movie that painted our soldiers as rapists made history as one of the worst openings ever.
Huckabee and Giuliani are on the roster today.
“The movie that painted our soldiers as rapists made history as one of the worst openings ever.”
and on top of that bad news for the liberal, loony left, the MSM has to deal with great sales numbers over the weekend, no major weather problems, and even the predicted travel troubles didn’t pan out. What’s the MSM gonna do?
As for Morning Joe, I can’t stand a single one of these people.
I have hope for the return of Imus, but we shall see.
“[SNIP] According to Box Office Mojo, Brian De Palma’s new anti-war, anti-American, anti-soldier tour de farce Redacted, winner of the Best Director award at the Venice Film Festival — which tells the stirring and subtle story of how American soldiers raped, murdered, and burned a fourteen year old Iraqi girl, and then raped, murdered, and burned her entire family to silence them, and then raped, murdered, and burned the military investigators, then the news reporters who tried to report on it, then families of random American soldiers, then Mr. Whipple, then all the animals at the petting zoo — has enjoyed a resounding lifetime box office gross of $25,628 dollars.
[SNIP] So what do you want to bet... the lesson Hollywood will take from Redacted — and Lions from Lambs (Tom Cruise, Robert Redford, Meryl Streep, Michael Pena — $13.8 million domestic), In the Valley of Elah (Tommy Lee Jones, Susan Sarandon, Charlize Theron — $6.7 million), and all the other anti-American, spit-on-the-soldiers movies about innocent Moslem terrorists being mugged, raped, and brutalized by vicious, bloodthirsty, criminal American soldiers — the lesson Hollywood takes will be... “Gee, I guess Americans just don’t like war movies anymore; war has become unpopular at the movies!”
You know, like We Were Soldiers ($78 million domestic), Master and Commander ($94 million), Troy ($133 million), 300 ($211 million), and Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers ($342 million).:”
Hope for Malibu to burn down completely.
Joe just called Mika a doom and gloom democrat — I think only jokingly. Its unbearable to watch, caught that snippit and then off to F&F to catch up on Natalie Holloway and Stacey Peterson. :-)
I thought I heard Mika refer to the holiday shoppers as “piggy”.
Ollie North will join Bill Bennett at the bottom of the hour.
Sloppy Joe is reporting that Trent Lott will resign his Senate seat before the end of the year.
Well at least they got one breaking news story right. There's about 3 FOX NEWS ALERT topics about that now.
Aren't they all. It's pitiful to see them now desperately trying to make something bad about the good news out of Iraq.
Me, too, Bahbah.
I have this awful aversion to any mention of the Klintoons, as well, and cannot force myself to listen to any of their stooges.
Soon we will find out if Imus is available on-line, and whether he is still the same person. (I hope.) :)
Imus will be on WABC radio and WABC streams Rush, Hannity and all their other programming so one would have to conclude they will stream Imus.
Here’s a direct link to their Internet feed. http://wm-eon.vitalstreamcdn.com/live_eonwmss_vitalstream_com_abc-wabcam1
Test it out before the big day. They are already running Imus commercials including the “quack, quack” sound bite.
