WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Amid an election-year debate over who can best defend America, U.S. congressional Democrats urged ABC on Thursday to cancel a TV miniseries about the September 11 attacks that is critical of former Democratic President Bill Clinton and his top aides.
Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada denounced the five-hour television movie, set to air in two parts on Sunday and Monday nights, as "a work of fiction."
Reid and other leading Senate Democrats wrote to Robert Iger, president and CEO of ABC's corporate parent, the Walt Disney Co., urging him to "cancel this factually inaccurate and deeply misguided program."

As I understand it from listening to Rush, ABC showed a screening of it to a room full of Dims and Pubbies (I think at least a few weeks to a month ago). ABC supposedly did not hand out advance copies (one of the reasons Bubba and other Dims were originally screaming - they wanted one). Rush got his copy from Cyrus ??? (the author and/or screenwriter,I believe). Rush said he will see what's been cut and thinks if big changes are made, the unedited version will be all over the Internet within days (or hours).
If they edit it or cancel it, I will buy a bootleg and give free copies to everyone I know.

I don't seem to remember this kind of Dem outrage over Moore's movie, which was a whole-cloth fabrication from start to finish. I'm so disgusted by ABC's capitulation that I don't think I'll even watch the damn thing--now that it has been "fictionalized".

It has come to my attention that you are contemplating pulling the miniseries Path to 9/11 under pressure from several high ranking democrats. This is a Facist, Gestapo-like tactic to prevent the truth from being portrayed to the citizenry of the United States of America. As citizens, we have every right to know the actions and/or inactions of our leadership that lead up to this horrific day.
I would encourage you to show some backbone and resist this revisionism.

Good. I'll go too. It's so weak and pathetic that they can't allow ANY dissenting views, and really, the stinking movie is BASED ON THE 9-!! COMMISSION!!! Not loosely based, HEAVILY BASED on it. Liberals are so weak and twisted they just can't stand any dissent so they have to sensor anyone who argues with them, and this proves further that the networks are still now, have always been, and will likely always be owned by the political liberal left. The Democrat party doesn't even leave bills on the dresser anymore, the service of the networks is just expected by the DNC, and the networks never fail to come through for them. The whole thing is just pathetic. The networks are just three sibling whores and they never disappoint their most regular John, the DNC.
