Something with hand puppets and children seems more like the right territory for Katie Couric. Like Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop. It worked for Fran Dresher. In fact, while they are playing around with gimmicks, maybe CBS would be better off with the Nanny's rapsy voice calling the evening news. And Lamb Chop and Katie doing feature segments.
