So in your mind the "nutball" is the teacher who speaks the truth about islam and not the teacher who has her students learning islamic greetings and making speeches in the islamic tongue? It's not too hard to see why the WOT hasn't been won yet, and won't be won for several generations, if at all. America is just too full of "canoeheads".
Let's see. The "Big Tent" teacher's union allying itself with the Muslim "Religion of Peace"?
Makes perfect sense to me in a bizarro sort of way!
I know how frustrating it can be. Many of my in-laws are die-hard DU-Type democrats. I swear they live in an alternate universe / dimension. They are not blind because they can't see, they are blind because they refuse to see. I present facts and they present feelings. Logic and reasoned conversation is not possible with them............
Yeah....my niece asked me what's so bad about Islam? ....she said she learned the 4 pillars of Islam in school last year.....I asked her if she's read the Koran? (No)....and asked her who were the ones who had done all the terrorist attacks? (Islamic terrorists)......got her thinking, I'm hoping.
If only she had advocated assassinating President Bush, they would have given her a promotion.
Many muslims do live in tents. Makes sense to me........I'd rather live intense than in tents........
Nah, I'd rather have a good socialist telling my kids that Heather having 2 mommies is good, Christian people are evil and that they should be good little Dhimmis and accept the inevitable coming overlords. Anyone talking about individual liberty is scary.
Oh yeah, my kids' teacher should also encourage them to speak languages other than English and value diversity and tolerance above all else.
Did I leave anything out that a 'good' teacher would teach? Because I sure wouldn't want a 'lunatic' like this lady teaching MY kids about outdated values like those dead white men who wrote the Constitution would be spouting.
This sounds like an in-school, administrative problem, easily handled (substitute teacher).
To arrest her, given the behavior described above, sounds like a violation of the First Amendment, and hardly cause for police action. Depending, of course, on how much one's state's authorities *get* that Bill of Rights thingy.
If they can teach that, why can't they teach The Lord's Prayer?..............
These liberals hate us and Bush so much, they would prefer that the terrorist kill us all.
Let us guess what this class was.
Rhetoric 101? (No. No, I don't think so)
A 100-series class within the Foreign Language umbrella? (No, not subtle enough to get past the parents)
CIA Vocational Prep Academy coursework? (I'm not so sure the NEA would have checked off on that)
Propaganda 101? (You got it...oh, and BTW, if you want to know what coursework division that's in, look in the art section--"Liberal Arts")
Where is the ACLU ?
Freedom of Speech and all...
.
jihadist's going off on anti-American tirades, however, are perfectly acceptable, so the cops would never have been called.
I think everybody needs to learn the native tongue. (So just find out what Native American tribe inhabited your neck of the woods and get book-crackin'!)
Or the TEN COMMANDMENTS - which really are a part of almost every religion in one form or another....
YOU tell ME! It's sick, isn't it.
BRAVO to a good and brave American woman. She stood up for her country, her religion, and her integrity.
__________
You know, I'd probably agree with you 100%, except for this little tidbit "Because of you, our families died in New York".
She said that to a group of high school students who were middle schoolers in 2001. Nobody in New York city died because of Maryland schoolkids learning an arabic phrase.
