Jason's last name is Vorhees.

Ah, that explains it. Believe it or not, I have never seen a Friday the 13th movie. I'm not much of a fan of the horror genre. :)

It is mind boggling that Senators Warner, Graham, McCain and their ilk do not or will not get this!

They get it, but McEgo and his toadies have their own agenda, and the country be danged.

Re the press conference. I watched it on Fox, and they didn't show Gregory getting tangled up, LOL! That gave GWB the perfect opening to jerk Gregory around. By the end of that sequence, it looked like even the other reporters were embarrassed at Gregory's behavior.

Me neither. Never seen Jason, never seen Nightmare on Elm Street (tho I have seen nightmare on K street).

But I did watch Kill Bill I last night at the request of the old man. I can review it for you, but only on demand.

Don't know what that acronym means, but it sounds about right. :)

Oh my goodness, look at that gorgeous scarf, or it is a sleeveless long vest, that Laura is wearing!! I wonder if she received a 'heads up' on the costumes the girls were wearing because she coordinates beautifully! Or maybe she was presented with that garment when she arrived. It kind of reminds me of that long, colorful vest that President Karzhai wears.

Don't know for certain, but I think she was presented with several scarfs when she went to Afghanistan. There's one in particular that she wears often.

BTW, Susie, the little girls in the at photo with Mrs. Bush are really beautiful, aren't they. Before the hard lives many of them lead takes a toll, many Afghan people are quite good looking.

It's the 'leet' way of saying someone has been OWNED, or gotten the best of by someone else. Leet speak is its own little language using a combination of letters and numbers. For example in 'leet', it's spelled l33t.

Then it's very apt, indeed. :)

Yes, the women are lovely! Remember that young girl who was featured on the National Geographic magazine cover back when the mujahideen were righting the Russians? She had the most stunning green eyes. Here is the original picture, and a picture of her in the present day. Looks like she's had a very hard life.

I hear you regarding Ann Richards. I'm sure she loved her state in her own way very much. But I'm so glad that GWB whupped her butt - politically, of course.

That Martha Raddatzzzzz should also be embarrassed at her own behavior, but she doesn't appear to be.

I know for sure that she loved Ann Richards very much.

But, yeah, she was a Texan...

However, I gotta tell you, that accent she used in appearances was way exaggerated over the way she usually talked.

I find that very easy to believe.

Did you see that Clinton had to insert his filthy puss into the Richards funeral? grrrr

THE PRESIDENT: David, next man, please. Thank you. It took you a long time to unravel, and it took you a long time to ask your question............

LOVED that part of the exchange. :)There was a touch of annoyance in the president's tone of voice there that was great!
