In this week's New Yorker, David Remnick turns in an excellent and truly must-read behind-the-scenes look at Clinton's post-presidential life and travels.

For those interested in all things Clinton, it has Bill Clinton on the record saying things he normally won't say on those terms ("I am sick of Karl Rove's bullshit." and attacking the Washington Post's Sue Schmidt), and talking about presidential politics, including saying John Edwards ran too soon.

I went out to try to find the New Yorker of 9/18 to see what Clinton's complaint about her was these many years later, since the link to ABC doesn't give any details, and I can't find the article (only a brief interview with the author) at the New Yorker website.(Too bad 9/25 NY'er on stands already.) Especially with Clinton's interest made obvious by the rage over The Path in keeping his history censored.

Well said. My mother taught me that you catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar. If someone has been rude or unfriendly to me, I just try to "kill them with kindness" and to be so sweet to them that butter wouldn't melt it my mouth. Rush is right (as usual) - it drives them crazy!

BTW, this article was a milestone for me because I have finally, after 14 years of Bill Clinton, found something that I agree with him about - John Edwards ran too soon. Since I am from NC, it is my fervent hope that he killed his chance at being the Democrat candidate for POTUS forever!
