"But I don't trust this blogger because if he were honorable, he wouldn't be so blatantly exposing a victim without concrete evidence and without at least trying to find out the other side of the story."
He left his phone number with Isstooks office, and asked that the young man call him about the story. He stated that the blog published his findings before he told them it was ok to post it.
In the case of this apparent manufactured story, this man had to have been involved in saving and then releasing these IM's just before the election. If he indeed was 18 (and he was for most of the IM's), he is no longer a victim, but he is a "participant"! To quote Mr. Spock, "THE NEEDS OF THE MANY OUT WEIGH THE NEEDS OF THE FEW"!

So, if this is true, what we have is basically a guy's career ruined because he was hitting on a page (i.e., intern, clearly inappropriate conduct). Hmm... why does this sound familiar? All it's lacking is an actual sexual act, known in some parts now as a "lewinski".
Are the dems merely going horrified by his actions because he's GAY??????? (rhetorical question).

Hello,
Back, briefly, a 3rd grader needs me, that would be Mr. MOguy, Jr.
This is too funny, though. And for those here, posting or lurking, that think the DBM can get away with this, once it falls apart, ask yourself: How well did Rather do on those FAKE documents? Aren't we supposed to have a different President? Yeah, that worked out real well for them...
Glad to be here, back later, MOgirl

I heard the Hewitt interview with Tony Perkins. Hewitt ate him alive and showed Perkins to be quite ignorant really. Perkins was just jumping on some bandwagon he didn't quite understand, probably to help benefit off what he incorrectly perceived would be a conservative backlask over Foley. He probably figured it would bring in some extra bucks to the Family Research Council. Anyway, it was clear Perkins wasn't prepared to go up against the far more intelligent Hugh Hewitt. He really didn't seem to know what he believed. He seemed to just be contradicting himself.

If the guy was 18 then the Dem's have done a hatchet job on two gay men in a consenting relationship further they have destroyed two gay people's lives for a naked power grab. I can't wait to see how this works out for the Dims.
Regardless, Foley should have been run out of town on a rail. And he essentially was. None of the rotten Dims have been. What a contrast between the parties.

Well, it is clear the Democrats, while avoiding discussion of the REAL ISSUES(which they cannot win on) and basing everything on a CONTROLLED LEAK of a nefarious sexual scandal right before the general election, have screwed themselves as something has gone terribly, terribly wrong for them. They have really fouled up on this. It is funny to watch it happen. Two election cycles in a row they tried scorched earth tactics against Republicans in the closing hours of the campaign using one of the three mainstream TV networks, only to be screwed up by super internet cyber sleuths.
In October 2008 it will be NBC's turn to go out on a limb...and have that limb sawed right off in front of their own eyes. LOL!!

I have a 'thing' for root beer floats made with A&W root beer and Blue Belle Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. Seriously, every week or so I get an overwhelming compulsion for this combination. I had to laugh when I read this, because this is also my secret(not anymore)food compulsion. I use Ben and Jerry's Vanilla, though.
For me, this is the best flavor combination of any food on earth, and I have this 2-3 times a week without fail. I even put a timer on the float after I pour the A&W, and let it sit for 7 minutes to let ice crystals form over the ice cream. People who watch me do this think I am crazy.
Do not be ashamed, some things are worth obsessing over.

All Foley - all the time. I'm sick of this non-story already. People are murdered, raped and abused every day. How about maybe the media focuses on that rather than a congressman supposedly (how do even know it was him) sending dirty IM's? I just hope the RNC has enough guts to move on, change the subject and quit staying on defense defending this non-crime. He's outed, no sexual crimes we know of, it's over.
To: 1curiousmind
Notice on the kid's MySpace page it says he went to UC Berkeley. I think that tells you all you need to know about this kid's affiliations and his possible motives for handing over IMs to some gay activist to use to out Foley, as we now know was the source of these things.

Where do you get that the IMs occured in the Fall and during an election? Do you mean because Foley referenced needing to go vote? That refers to his needing to go vote on the floor of the House, as in voting for legislation. Maybe you are referring to something I don't know about. In any event, no one is dating these IMs as going back to 2002 which was the last election prior to 2003.

As for Jordan being a dirty tricks operative, you do have to wonder why a young man who engaged in these types of IM's went to work as Deputy Campaign Manager for a Rep. who is big on school prayer amendments, etc.
Or is it Istook that we have to ask about?
