The cleanup begins.

I just passed a couple of trucks on 64 between Siler City and Pittsboro that had trailers from a company that provides temporary storage of liquid hazardous wastes. They were Apex bound.

Company: No Chlorine Gas In Apex Chemical Fire

"Maris said the plant stores paints, oils, thinners, antifreeze, detergents and cleaners. He said some of the cleaning products or pool chemicals might have contained chlorine bleach, but he said he doesn't have the chemistry background to know whether bleach could release chlorine gas if ignited"

At 8:00 am outside my house, it smelled like a swimming pool outside...I live just south of the evacuation zone.
