Elizabeth Edwards, who is promoting her memoir "Saving Graces, suddenly realized that Hillary still has that darn old FBI file on John Edwards.

How can anyone pretend to know other person's degree of happiness? Lizzy's original remarks were bizzare at best and foolish in the worst case.

What is this? I'm happier, and I apologize, all in the same news cycle.

Seems like someone is on or off their meds.

How can anyone pretend to know other person's degree of happiness?

Don't forget her shameful behavior when Kerry/Edwards decided to make Mary Cheney part of the campaign. After Lynn Cheney dressed them down, Liz Edwards came back with this:

"She's overreacted to this and treated it as if it's shameful to have this discussion. I think that's a very sad state of affairs... I think that it indicates a certain degree of shame with respect to her daughter's sexual preferences... It makes me really sad that that's Lynne's response."

"What a strange thing to say."

I must be mistaken, it had been clear to me. I thought it was just female semantics for, "She's a b.... !"

She's a wimp if she apologized but then again a call from the clinton mob could make anyone a wimp!

The Arkancide hit squad must have shown up at her front door.

Although I don't think her politics are right, it was nice of her to call and apologize. Who thought that a democrat could be decent. I guess even a broken clock could be right once.

I do get that part. I guess I am very far removed from that line of thinking. I can't imagine being so consumed with another's woman adjustment to life that THAT would come rolling off my tongue in a press interview. My observations and experience lead me to believe those things don't usually just happen; rather, the speaker has usually been "meditating" on such thoughts for a while. I'd rather think of other things about people than comparing myself with their happiness level. It seems the sort of thing a depressed person would say to make herself feel better. (For example: "I may be miserable, but in this one area, she's got to be more miserable than I am," despite disclaimers to the contrary.)

The statement was a nothing. The only reason necessary for a response would be because Hillary said: "Damn right, she better apologize". Ah, to be a fly on the wall

Cat fight?? Women are like this....ya know.
