"I am embarrassed for you and your husband," wrote "Chris." "Just as you choose not to do business with us, I, my friends, my family, my co-workers and everyone I meet, will not do business with you! I have sent your e-mail to over 50 people I know and work with. These people know 50 others each ... was your bigotry worth it?"

Ah, the tolerance of militants. Threats, unprovable claims of a widespread movement and the irresistible urge to shout 'NYAH NYAH NYAH.'

They are almost too easy to ridicule.

Michael Lord and his boy toy are now going to own "Garden Guy."

What Ms. Farber should have done was to give them a quote of double the going rate.

"A true conservative stands firm in their beliefs and does not waffle on issues."

A true conservative? As in the born-again gay haters club variety? Is that you Reverend Phelps? I'm not interested. Please shut the gate when you leave. If I see Jesus, I'll send him your way. OK?

"Given the nature of your business.....one would reasonably guess that you deal with a lot of liberals in business."

I don't want to blow a hole in your stereotyping an industry, but the large majority of my customers and other dealers are strongly conservative. I'm sure you either know the type or have read about them, i.e. people that hunt, fish, work in the woods cutting down trees destroying the environment, men with wives and kids, etc. You know, real men who work hard for a living, that type. Not the type you'd meet at an Act-Up! or NAMBLA meeting.

If I do take money from a liberal, which I wouldn't know because they don't call and say "Hello, I'm a liberal and I want to place an order with you", then that just leaves them with less money to donate to homosexual supporters.

Sorry if I offended you.

You mean as in your statements below? Find a place and stay there, you're all over the board.

"The only positive trend I've seen in the feminist movement is the increase in lesbianism. If they turn to each other, maybe that will reduce the chances that they will reproduce and eventually just die out."

Or in your Post #133 to me:

"You know…I have to admit you got me on the radical feminist comment.."...."Childlessness and therefore fewer baby radical feminists. I’m such a hateful hypocrite."

I would think that if you work for a lawyer, in spite of your view of them (quote: "Actually. I hate lawyers. Greedy ba$tards.") that you would know that it is often in your best interest to just shut up so that you don't convict yourself further via your own words.

Well... I'm a homosexual, and I totally respect the gardener's right to refuse to work for homosexuals. I totally understand the family's objections.

To be quite honest, I'd rather not do jobs for homosexuals either.

I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Mike,

I can't thank you enough for your response. I truly wish you the best of luck and hope you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

You, sir, are a courageous man and I commend you for your honesty and integrity.

Thanks Panaxanax,

There's too much hot air wasted on argueing some things. Homosexuality can infect the mind, and when a normal man or woman is infected by the homosexual rationale, all form of rational arguement goes out the window.

The homosexual agenda has a hypnotic effect on those who sucumb to it's influence.

Sabrina Farber could have refused the job without explanation, and that would have been the end of it.

that's possible, buy I highly doubt that once they got to the part of the conversation where he needed to clarify that his partner was a man, she could have at that point said, "Oops, we're booked solid for the next few months...Sorry!"

Even if she'd waited a few days and called to say that she was sorry, but they couldn't do the job for whatever good excuse she could come up with, Mr. Lord would have said, "Ah- HA! You're not working for me because I'm a homosexual. It says on your website! And I'm going to sue you for discrimination!!! Mwah-hahahahaha!!"

It was a set-up. They have a strong belief in doing their part to protect marriage, and it says so on their website. I can bet you they don't wait for someone to call so they can insult them.

However I suspect that since homosexuality it a "protected" status...they may well be in legal trouble.

Since when is "homosexuality" a protected class?
