I feel sorry for Michael J Fox he has a debilitating disease and is still very young with young children, I think he is doing whatever he can to find a cure and it is caught in the web of the political landscape. If the doctors were telling him thier might be a cure for Parkinson's in jimson weed or snake venom he proably would be on TV speaking of that...

Nothing wrong with your reason except for the timing it with the 2006 elections. Liberal BS.

Private concerns have for years been using embryonic stem-cell research and found that it produces nothing

Not true .. it produces tumors

What? Too sissy for frogs and firecrackers.

No...just don't like all that icky green and red stuff all over me.

A blender does the same thing, without all the noise and mess.

Besides, have you never fell down laughing at the antics of a horse fly with a pine needle up it's butt?

'Course, now I'm wondering what would happen with a ladyfinger cracker tied to the pine needle?

Hmmm...

This isn't the first time Patricia Heaton has spoken out for Conservative issues and against Hollyweird "values"

I think she should consider a political career!

Beautiful, Bright, Conservative

She could indeed, if she wants to take the pay cut!

This is Roger Friedman, the same guy who thought that Farenheit 911 was the best movie of the year and said that conservatives could learn alot from it.

She probably is pretty well set with all those residues from "Everybody Loves Raymond"

Run Patricia Run!

Is she the actress in the Acme Markets commercials?

She's been in some really good and funny Albertson Supermarket commercials out here on the Left Coast.

Yes!! When Pat Heaton said "I want to thank my mom for letting me be born" I nearly fell off my chair. And then the camera cut to the audience-the sour puss expression on Jennifer Aniston's face was priceless! You had to know this pro-abortion, "Bush is an (expletive) idiot" big time Lib, was furious. I loved it!!!

No, she said enshrining cloning in the Missouri Constitution could led to the exploitation of poor women, who feel pressure to harvest their eggs to make some money. She pointed out that this is a painful and dangerous proceedure.

I agree with her completely. I also believe that the harvesting of eggs for money is immoral and unethical. Cloning is the issue here...which is exactly what this Amendment 2 is all about. The political ad by Michael J. Fox completely distorts that fact. I'll go so far as to say that he outright LIES about it (lie of ommission at least) in his ad.

Cloning is not only immoral but it is just CREEPY...and shouldn't even be under consideration. These are human lives that are being talked about as if they are some sort of experiment or innocuous object. These embryos are HUMAN BEINGS at their earliest stages which amendment two would allow to be cloned and used for lab experimantation. It's vile and disgusting and creepy.

These people don't believe in God but they want to play God.

I agree with you here..plus has any disease been cured with Stem Cell research? I don't believe so. Diseases can be cured with natural and herbalistic means but thier is no money in it for the Big Pharmecutical Industries...

MS patients have been helped with Bee Venomn.

Michael J. Fox and Patricia Heaton are not so very different. Both are very personable, talented actors who have both had alot of success in their careers.

I have watched and read about MJF for many years and about his foundation and his search for a cure.
I also read with great interest a much less publicized article (very much less publicized!) about Patrica Heaton's personal donation of several sonargraph machines to clinics that counsel pregnant women who are torn or confused about the pregnancy. The idea behind the sonargrams is that if a woman can see her baby, then the baby becomes a reality to the mother and she will likely give birth and life to the child.

Patricia Heaton does this to save lives. Michael J. Fox does what he does to save HIS life. Yes. MJF is very ill and his life must be very difficult. If this issue is so important to him, why didn't he have the courage to fully disclose what he was endorsing, EMBRYONIC stem cell research? In the commercial, every thing he is saying is about EMBRYONIC stem cell, but he never ever uses that word. Totally dishonest.

"I don't remember her attacking Fox. Did she?"

No, I don't believe that she did. I saw the commercial and did not see an attack on Fox.

to me "pro-life" is as much a cop-out term as the rats using the term "pro-choice".....

anyway you cut it these people are anti-abortion and should not be afraid to frame it any other way....

Michale J. Fox was a premier party hound in the late '80s and early '90s with all sorts of chemical bad habits. Parkinson's in someone so young is very rare.

Fox would do the public a much bigger favor if he came clean with what the real reasons for his illness might be, instead of being used as a shill for a pseudo science which is nothing more than a faster route toward increased abortion and state-supported cannibalism.

Patricia Heaton is practically alone in her bravery in standing up to the Hollywood Abortion Pushers, Liberal Egotists and Snide Socialists -- HAPLESS for short.

Go to it. Patricia!! Peek behind the Dem's curtain and tell the world about the flim-flam man.

Michael J Fox, Democratic Spokesman Snake Oil Salesman

Michael's a character ACTOR,
But we must not consider that factor.
We may only show pity
On the saint from Spin City.
If we question, we're called a detractor.
