Yes, the hard part is that the fight's over for now. All we can do is rest, lick our wounds, recover a "normal" life...and be ready when the bell rings for the next round.

My plan for the day is to clean the entire house. Dust bunnies fear me.

Today is still a bit of a let down. Not as depressed as last night though. The sun is shining here and that always makes me thankful for a new day.

I beat you to the dust bunnies this morning. My 11 mo. old granddaughter comes on Wed. and had to get after it before she "mops" the floor with her knees.

Let's just hope we are able to finish the job and not just pull out like they made us do in Vietnam.

Good to see you, Marm! Unfortunately, it's raining to beat the band here in the Hudson Valley.

I'm trying to focus on the positives. Peter King and Joe Lieberman were reelected. Both are strong hawks. From what I can tell, it looks like Jean Schmidt was reelected in Ohio. And now that the Dems have the House (at least), we can hope the enemedia's reporting on Iraq and the economy will become more honest.
