Two calls from Joe Piscapo for Kean the younger and two calls from W himself, for the good of the nation. Now, I'm still a registered democrat, but haven't voted that way for 31 years now, and the wife is a registered republican, and been that way all her life. So we're not exactly sure who each call was for.
Sarah Brady called me a while back about a local legislative race. Rudy Giuliani has called me twice and Governor Robert Ehrlich called me twice Monday.
Edwards was probably looking to represent you in a suit against automated calls. :)
I'm in Brooklyn too and I got DeNiro shilling for Hillary and Elliot Spitzer wanting me to vote for him on the Working People's Party line! I've not heard or seen any evidence at all of the existence of the Republican Party.
Well, creditors no longer call me on account of my bankruptcy.
However, "other guys" call me daily to offer me credit for satellite/cable services. I get calls from guys who want me to buy a cat from them. I get guys calling me who want money from me because they're handicapped and disabled (they can't afford a cat).
I could go on for hours, but its a bunch of jack-assed bullshit. I believe that "Butters" shouldn't get the raw-end-of-the-stick as often as he does. And I believe that Chef's Balls should be more than a culinary absurdity.

Here in NY, I was called four times by Eliot Spitzer (Robotcall)asking me to vote for him on the Working Families Party Line. Extremely annoying.

Governor Ehlrich (Maryland) and Rudi Guilani, the latter twice. I also get emails from Ehrlich, Michael Steele, and Ken Mehlman on pretty much a daily basis.
Here in Wisconsin it is mostly Jimmy "Craps" Doyle, looking for money and votes (or money to buy votes)....Told him I was fresh out and advised him to go back to the Indians for another helping of casino cash.
