Virginia is likely over, and we're in for an interesting 2 years of Democratic house and Senate.
McCaskill closing on Talent in MO.

Fairfax County (59% Webb, biggest county in VA)
Halifax County (59% Allen, but small)
James City County (55% Allen, small)
Loudoun County (50% Webb, big)
Prince William County (51% Webb, big)

City of Virginia Beach (52% Allen, big)
Looks like it is over to me, talk about choking away a certain victory. If Talent doesn't hold on in MO. we lose the Senate as well. With him, Cheney is the tie breaker (50/50 Senate) as it looks like Burns is going down as well in Mont.
There was a 4,000 vote typo in favor of Webb from Isle of Wight County.

actually that AND the republicans screwed their base. When you do that you dont have a team people want to be associated with. I actually lay a great deal on Frists pussywhipped leadership.
What is wrong with people in Virginia? It astounds me that any rational person would vote for a weird little man like Webb.
Aren't they just rounding up? I'm still ticked that this is even an ISSUE!!!! Allen's seat should have been secure. R's need to regroup & kick ass BAD in two years.

It is 2 states really. Take out Fairfax, Arlington & Alexandria and the rest of the state is pretty Red.
I would not make this assumption. If they are out of the country and did not witness this dreadful campaign, I would expect a lot of them to vote Republican. Active duty military overwhelmingly describe themselves as Republicans.
What are you smoking? After p!$$ing away what should have been an easy coast to re-election, Allen is through as a Presidential contender.
This is a very frightening time for all Americans. The Republicans did not do what we elected them to do. Instead they acted just like Democrats and over spent and really just ignored their base. I think this should be a wake up call to the rest of our party to get it RIGHT during the next two years or we will see the entire Senate fall to the democrats. I want to say to everyone that did not vote for the Republican in your area... Watch out now. I bet we get hit now worse than 9/11 and you can bet it will happen because they know that the democrats will do NOTHING at all about it. PRAY FOR THIS COUNTRY!

it's just a very odd coincidence that within one update at the State site, the exact same number of votes' difference, and percentage of votes would flip from Allen's favor to Webb's.
