I don't like faggots, especially faggots that are the head of a 30,000 person church.

I do find it asmusing that 29,999 folks followed the fag. Talked in tongues, fell down, spazed out in homage to the fag. What a bunch of maroons.

It is almost catholic, in the fagginess quotient.

I bet he was a boy scout leader.

"We do represent 30 million people, and we can mobilize them if we have to."

Jeeze, I thought 30,000 were dupes, but it is really 30,000,000.

Thirty million folks following the fag, speaking in tongues, falling on the floor.

It is not like I am laughing at you...OK, I am laughing at you. *snicker*...chuckle...*snort*...gufaw! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!

What a bunch of dupes!

Gorbachev gave up on the Earth Charter. Instead, he cheerleads Russia's massive military buildup by Putin.

I agree. In fact, since we won the Colorado Springs-based CO-05 by a much larger margin than the polls indicated, if anything the Haggard scandal mobilized religious conservative voters in Haggard's home area.

not sure , since the subject "fundamentalists" have "shoulders" in the aggregate, but each has only one chip

a better constuction would be "A fundamentalist is an evangelical with a chip on his shoulder." But then you get into his/her.

There are a bunch of different Baptist strains. There are fundamentalist, evangelical, primitive, and charismatic strains. Many assume that all Baptists are Southern baptists, and try to apply an organizational template like the Roman Catholic, Episcopalian or Methodist Churches have. Each Baptist Church is a totally independent business organization, and may or may not be affiliated with other Baptist churches. Also, the name "Baptist" isn't copyrighted, so any church can call itself a Baptist church, if it so wishes.

I had never heard of this guy before the scandal, but every photo I've seen of him gives me the creeps.

I wonder WHY Ted was so pro-Environmentalism.
Surely he had some alterior motive.
Perhaps he aspired to some political office and was trying to garner support from liberals.
Who knows.
Sounds like he was full of himself, making threats to turn evangelicals against the Republicans.
God allowed him to fall.
Reminds me of the fall of Jimmy Swaggart.

I checked out Jim Robison's site and he said he and his wife had met with Ted Haggard the day before these revelations were released and they both felt something was wrong with Ted.

This is the beginning of a great shaking according to Robison. Haggard got it, the Republicans got it, now the Democrats are next.

Look, perhaps you don't see it, but bigtime religeon is a business like any other.

Lots of dupes needed to "Put your hands on the back of the TV set and feel the Shock of the Lord!"

As long as the dupes give, and give, the leaders drive their Cadilacs.

And then you find out they are gay, or baker-types (900 foot Jesus is about to call me home--please give now!).

Now go talk in tongues.

Dupe.
