I understand they reach a deal on how to count the ballots left in NM 1.

Have they really counted all of those 20,000 ballots? I heard at 5 pm tonight they still were not finished. Sorry but I am not sure yet.

One bag? They found several, all overstuffed, busted zippers and all! IF they had dared to count those, and it turned the election, there would be several people investigated. Of course, that should have happened in 04!

"Or, perhaps, they didn't have enough bodies to count."

That never stopped ACORN! Remember how the population of Milwaukee popped during the presidential re-election?

I remember hearing about all the absentee ballots. My question is how many races have significant numbers of ballots in the numerous close seats across America? Republicans tend to vote in higher numbers as absentee. Also I've not heard a lot about the Military vote has all of it been counted?

So is Reichert a conservative Republican or another RINO?

Doesn't Fox know you can't call a race here in Washington state until all the ballots are "counted", 'er I mean manipulated. Seriously, not all the ballots have been counted and we all know what that means. It's not over.

He won two years ago and the dems poured bucku bucks into trying to defeat him. Then bags and bags of ballots were found to be unsecured (not closed, that sort of thing) in heavily dem counties. ... Last I heard they hadn't decided if they would be counted, and the race at that point (last night) was Reichert 50.something and the dem competition 49.1 or something like that.

That sure is the truth! He's my congresscritter, so I'm saying prayers and keeping everything crossed!

FNC just announced it again, but said Burner is not conceding saying there are still absentee ballots left to count. Here's the latest off the SOS site.

My name is Darcy Burner, and I am running for Congress because
my experience as a mother and a businesswoman tells me that
the country is headed in the wrong direction
and that together, we can change it.

No wonder. But,
How the heck did she even have a chance?
But then,

The special interests have too much power, and it's time
to take our country in a different direction.

Nuff said. And this is from her website.

Here's the AP story:

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Republican Rep. Dave Reichert survived a strong challenge from Democratic newcomer Darcy Burner, winning a second term in this historically slow-counting suburban Seattle district.

Reichert, best known as the sheriff who nabbed the Green River Killer, retained his seat after new returns were posted Monday night from King County. His lead stood at 4,727 votes, or 51.1 percent to Burner's 48.9 percent. Overall, 208,225 votes had been counted in the race.

The vast majority of voters cast ballots by mail, and they count as long as they were postmarked by Nov. 7.

Reichert was in Washington, D.C., for the new term of Congress on Monday and did not immediately return a phone message.

Burner's campaign refused to concede, saying the Democrat's chances could improve after about 20,000 absentee ballots dropped off at polling sites are counted.

66 votes? I'd challenge the provisional ballots, that's where the Dem fraud is.
