If you need a current link to the impact of fundamentalist Islamics and their radical inhuman religious codes, see

You are presenting anomalies who are openly condemned by the majority of correligionists with the situation involving Islam, where religious persecution of non-Muslims is the norm, is generally supported by Islamic societies, and is defended by Islamic scriptures and clerics.

When Christian priests and ministers are active participants in genocide it's an "anomaly" to the armchair diplomat and the wartime theologian. For the hundreds of thousands of victims, it is all too real. The Rwandan case proves that Christianity is not a sufficient deterrent against genocide and the number of people killed by "anomalous" Christians since the abolishment of the Caliphate exceeds the number of people killed by murderers who you claim are "supported by Islamic societies."

I don't what the situation is in Senegal.

That hasn't stopped you from making wild assertions about Muslims, their countries, and their laws.

Non-Muslims are not permitted to practise their religion openly in Muslim societies. Attempting to convert a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Elements of Sharia Law are imposed on non-Muslims, its not permitted to make improvements to the exterior of non-Muslim houses of worhsip in islamic countries, or even build new ones.

Can you please point to these laws in the Muslim societies of Turkey, Senegal, Morocco or Egypt? Each country is overwhelmingly Muslim, so it shouldn't be hard. Of course, it will be hard because the original assertion remains patently false, no matter what you say.

SHOULD READ "Many groups condemn it and small handfull of radicals continue to fund it."

What I wrote was correct. Many groups condemned [Irish terrorism] publicly and continued to fund it privately.

Funny, I can't recall hearing ANY Muslim clerics condemn violence in the media - either liberal or conservative media. I have CONSTANTLY read about one imam or cleric or another who has been personally involved in inciting it. If you can provide me with any links to sights which demomstrate widespread oppostion to non-Muslims by Islamic clerics, I would appreciate it. I have an open mind.

Valin and nuconvert have been posting these stories since I've been here. Assuming their permission, I'll direct you to them.

The Rwandan issue still was not generated by religion. If I recall correctly, it was generated by tribal hatreds exacerbated by European drawn borders inicluding people who had long standing revulsions towards one another.

That is not correct, but a more accurate explanation will be too long to include here. Gerard Prunier has written an excellent book on the subject, if you are interested. And whether or not the genocide was "generated by religion", the overwhelmingly Christian country did not reject genocide, or even violence.

Can you provide me with links to substantiate the claim that priests were involved in Rwandan genocide?

At any rate, I don't think that translates into MOST of history.

The Klan was founded in Reconstruction, shrunk as an organization at the turn of the century and emerged resurgent in national immigration debates after WW1. Its 90 year reign did not terrorize with the same consistency over the years, but it still did. Only since the early 70s have murders by the Klan and its allies become truly unusual.

A handful of nutjobs may have set the match, but the fire was kept going by a lot of other people for a lot of different reasons.

I was actually referring to the Klan still.

Because Mecca is the heart of Islam. The British Library isn't the heart of Communism.

If neo-nazis bombed an American city would you Nuke Berlin?

And I can't recall any recent incidents - say in the last 2,000 years or so of Jews killing non-believers in response to Mosaic Laws.

Baruch Goldstein and Yigal Amir come to mind.

Who the hell is Charles Taylor and why is he so relevant?

Your earlier comments suggest that you know that Google exists.

As a matter of fact, I get the distinct feeling that you are more concerned about the Ku Klux Klan and the Inquisition as a threat to your personal safety that the seething masses of anti-western Muslims populating the world today.

If there are seething ("teeming"? "crawling"? "slithering"?) masses of anti-Western Muslims, that is cause for concern. Islamist terrorists, of course, are a very clear and present danger. But I am not defending terrorists. Your blanket statements about Islam suggest that you would fear the Muslim family living down the street more than the Klansmen around the corner. I can assure you that I have very good reasons to fear a Klansman or neo-Nazi far more than I do an honest and law-abiding neighbor who professes a faith that you find distasteful.

One more, but that's it. It's easy to Google "rwanda genocide nuns" or "rwanda genocide priest" and frankly, I don't need any proof that it happened.
