It's easy to cast blame when all we needed was 8K votes. The D's still claim another mandate for change.

The Webb campaign and their reporterette stooge knew exactly what they were doing with the aggressive Jew-baiting debate question.

I do think Allen should have had enough political savvy - and control of himself- not to rise to the bait. His angry response made it appear that there was something wrong with having a Jewish heritage.

"I'd be ashamed to have won with the defeat of the country as an objective of my voters"

That's because you're not a Democrat. Don't you understand American internationalism? (Clintons 'Third Way') 'A weaker US makes the world safer. If we help our enemy, they'll like us.)

In the U.S. Senate race in Virginia, more than 50,000 self-identified Muslim voters went to the polls, MAS said. A commanding majority of them, 92 percent, or 47,092, voted for the Democratic challenger, James H. Webb Jr.

I can understand why they'd vote for cowardly democrats.

What I find frightening is not so much the politics, but the number of Muslims in Virginia. If there's that many in one state, how many are in the country, and how long do we have before they're given the order to strike?

If more people had voted for Allen, Allen would have won.

That's true, but your statement is unhelpful to someone trying to understand why Allen lost.

Some of us are interested in understanding the various demographic factors, issues and mistakes that all contributed to this critical loss. If you're not, that's fine.

My response was flippant, but my point was that everyone has a different explanation. When the vote is that close, even an inch of rain in one particular town could be the explanation.

Nice cartoon, except I fail to remember a newspaper with those headlines! It's more likely to say: Difference between rich and poor increasing; 5 dead in Iraq bombing; Murtha accuses Bush of going to war for a lie; Republican Corruption in the House.

And the Jewish vote, of course, also went Dem.

Hew, Jews, when are you going to get your collective heads out of your asses and realize that the Democrats are allied with the people who want to wipe you as a race off the face of the Earth? I mean, what is it with this collective death wish? Sheesh...

Mukit Hossain has some very shady relationships with Muslim "charities" that support terrorist groups.

He is also one of the leading organizers of hispanics in Northern Virginia and very active in organizing day labor sites and latino marches for amnesty and open borders. He uses his millions to buy the loyalty of the hispanics and has all the local politicians sucking up to him and giving him tons of public service awards.

Here is one site which references some of his activities:
http://alwaysonwatch.blogspot.com/2005/08/muslim-origins-of-project-hope.html

Looks like he has now made himself into a political power broker.

His real aims are closer to Wahhabism rather than the American way. It's not surprising to see him on the side of those who want to cut-and-run in Iraq and turn America into a third world replica of Guatemala so the Caliphate can triumph.

WND Exclusive FROM WND'S JERUSALEM BUREAU
Mideast terror leaders
to U.S.: Vote Democrat
Withdrawal from Iraq would embolden
jihadists to destroy Israel, America

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.
JERUSALEM – Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday's midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party's position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.

The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are "tired."

They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.

They said a withdrawal would also embolden their own terror groups to enhance "resistance" against Israel.

"Of course Americans should vote Democrat," Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, told WND.
