McCain Embarrassed!! Loses State Committeeman Race!
Stephen Frank's California ^ | 12-1-2006 | Edcoil

Posted on 12/01/2006 6:52:01 AM PST by edcoil

How embarrassing is this? A U.S. Senator, John McCain, for some crazy reason, decided to run for State Committeeman in Arizona.

So, the Senator puts his name on the ballot, loses. Then claims he really didn't intend to run?

Who is naive enough to believe that? Why would a U.S. Senator, running for President of the United States run for State Committeeman, in his own local district AND LOSES--THIS HAS TO BE EMBARRASSING.

Those that know him best didn't feel he could serve them as a Committeeman? Yet he wants to be President of the United States? Worse, a former Governor runs, as his supporter, and also loses.

The former Guv runs against an open opponent of McCain. What does this say about the way the activists in Arizona thinks of Senator McCain? He may be their Senator, but they don't want him as their committeeman? Once again, as McCain proved since the Bush election in 2000, he is a divisive force inside the GOP. McCain stopped Bush from his judicial appointments and, in affect, wanted veto power over the President. On issue after issue, such as so-called campaign finance reform, which has shut down free speech within 60 days of an election, McCain has worked closely with the Democrats against the interests of honest citizens. While this, in the context of world events, is not a big deal, a US Senator losing a very minor race like this has to make his face redder than the jersey of a Crimson Tide football player. Or as red as the face of a citizen having his free speech gagged by McCain.

Write your thoughts about McCain directly on the web site for all to see and discuss. If you lived in his district, would you have voted for him? Pass this around the Internet--let others see McCain as his neighbors see him.

That should of read, McCain's run for President in 2008 would be a tired campaign, he is aging, and has some obvious health problems that you see on his face, the public would never get past that.

McCain is slowly sinking into his own senility, just like the deranged Jimmy Carter. He is an embarrassment and dangerous.

IMO it sounds as thought he wanted
to test the local waters regarding
his popularity in D.C. If the locals
refute him, why spend the money for a
national campaign?
Does anyone know just WHO IS in favor
of McCain for Prez? No poll I've seen
has him above Giuliani.

I have always suspected that McCain's mind was broken by his years in captivity and the tender ministrations of the NVA.

IMO he is not stable and decidedly NOT the man to have his finger on 'the button'.

I honor and respect his service and sacrifice, but we need to be realistic about his issues.

Now THERE is the $64,000.00 question!

He is the MSM's darling for sure but, beyond that, I don't know anyone who would support him in a primary and I have been involved in republican party politics in Texas for several decades now.

Who was the former Governor that supported him?

He associates with crooks, he was a buddy of Charles Keating and he is known to be a buddy of the disgraced and kicked out of office Fyfe Symington, the crook who ripped off his mother, wife, friends, business associates, clients, and a pension fund.

That's just about the best analysis of McCain anyone has offered.

This proves the MSM's constant drumbeat that McCain "is the frontrunner" for the GOP - IS A BIG FAT LIE.

It is sad to see a good man slowly decline after so many great achievements. Sometimes I wonder how his experiences may have contributed to his demise. We will never know what went on in those years of captivity. My guess is his conscious has probably nearly eaten him alive. It is quite possible that the rumors of his treason could be true. That, however is between him and God.

Meanwhile he is in is 70's. I think his prime is well past for leading our nation.

My 2 cents.

McCain will never be President and I think the MSM and others are promoting his polls so that the Democrats can win the White House back.
