CNN) -- It's quiet. Almost too quiet.
That's what you get in a horror movie, just before something bad happens. But does the same cliché hold true in the world of al Qaeda, whose leaders have gone very quiet?
We had a flurry of messages from al Qaeda's number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, around the time of the fifth anniversary of the September 11 attacks. There was an al Qaeda propaganda video about the 9/11 plot, a message to Americans urging them to convert and another message bemoaning the fate of alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammad who was captured in 2003. There was even an al Qaeda-conducted interview with al-Zawahiri.

Another voice asks were is Zawahiri.....when will the MSM notice the quiet....and how abnormal it is.

Has anyone thought about all of the food poisoning cases? Is this natural or is someone assisting?
I think that madrassa strike hit to close to home...and AQ doesn't know how we pinpointed Zawahiri to two locations in the span of 10 months. When we see or hear another tape from Zawahiri...it will signal AQ thinks they have plugged their leak.
I'm really hoping that this is all nothing to wonder about...
But then again, why haven't we been told of a terror threat upgrade by our illustrious DHS???

I don't go to malls at all if I can help it, especially at Christmastime. But if I were a terrorist, that's exactly where I'd go.
How so?
Look at the audio and video that AQ has put out in the past 5 years, and the timing.
I live in the country and I like it that way. I don't make much of a target out here.
I think people are missing the point here....the gone quiet...is not about another terror attack...its about AQ releasing 20+ plus tapes this year....UP UNTIL that missile strike on the madrassa on Oct 30....then dead silence.
