Funny you should mention that.
The locals *still* think that the commune is a "nudist colony".....:))

That "Imbolc, I believe. Also Candlemas."
I didn't think it necessary to repeat what he'd already stated.
Pertaining to the rest of your vitriolic tirade directed at me, I have no idea why you chose to do that.

So, I forgot about Candlemas and confused it with Walpurgisnacht... There is no such thing as an ecumenical atheist...And yet those terms are well-defined historically, as well as fairly 'ecumenical' in the neo-pagan community.
What would atheism have to do with either (aside from being your favorite straw man).

"I have no problem with your picking on people's beliefs, but what are your's so we can pick on them too?"
Theravadan Pantheist
Well, no picking from me. I accept the divinity of Christ but I also respect Theravada Buddhists very much.
I'm not quite sure how pantheism fits, though. I thought there was no theism in Buddhism. Am I wrong, or is this your own personal adaptation?
To: Wormwood
Oh.
Gee.
I can't tell the players without a scorecard, now.....:)

You misspelled "wicker man". Okay, this is creepy
My wife and I just tonight watched The Wicker Man (the 1973 original). We were slogging through our pile of Christmas DVDs, and it was tonight's movie!
Weird.

Fun religious term of the day;
"Mono-poly-pantheistic-animistic-pagan"
[and yes, you have to sing that to the 'Mary Poppins' tune]

Our pagan days are behind us, I'm afraid.
Okay, now I'm getting a little nostalgic. ;)

Synchronicity rules....:)
'The Wicker Man' is one of my top 5 all-time faves.
The new version is but a pale shadow of it.
I even bought the original Wicker Man soundtrack CD.
[Corn rigs *are* bonny].....;D

I don't care a whit about "Kwanzaa" just so long as nobody forgets that July 30 is 'Universal Salamander Appreciation Day'.What??? Really? I didn't know that!
Is there a gerbil appreciation day? Just asking...
