I don't and my husband is napping or I'd ask him...not that I am certain he'd know.

You know, Hildy, you weren't old enough to remember how bad things were in the 70's when Ford became president. He conducted himself with honor and held this country together.

Since you seem to think he was nothing but a two-bit hack, could you please find something else to do? Thank you.

The TV coverage reminds me of how very beautiful the Capitol Building is. Not just the dome, which we naturally tend to focus upon, but the lower tier of the facade, which we have gotten many closeups of tonight.

Not having a scintilla of classical architecture knowledge, I have no idea whether it's Greek Revival or Early Roman or whatever, but it is magnificent -- inside too, of course, as we're seeing at the moment.

Ok...according to Wallace, Rumsfeld is not here because he's snowed in and can't get a flight.

I can't imagine how badly Rumsfeld feels.
